- When the Fat Controller's new engine Rosie arrives, Thomas is asked to take some birthday mail to his niece. However, when Thomas begins to think that Rosie is making fun of him trouble isn't far behind.

That was brilliant! This clearly explains why Rosie wanted to be like Thomas and why she kept trying to copy him and follow him, it was because she didn’t know the way and she didn’t want to get lost. At first, I thought it was because she had a crush on him! LOL

And I thought Rosie came to the island because of what she heard about in the RWS that made her a big fan.
I'm rather hopeful this ends with Thomas reassuring Rosie that she shouldn't try to always be like him, seeing as he got himself into the landslide, and that she should discover what makes her special. Development for both characters, that's what I like
I've changed some things about Rosie but you'll see in the premiere :)

I might actually disagree. From a storytelling them perspective you're right. That should be what Thomas does. But given his personality, Thomas loves the attention. Especially, if this is meant to take place earlier in Thomas' life when he was more vain.

That was awesome. I loved the change in character for Rosie and how she hears about Thomas. This works much better and I love how Rosie behaves all bubbly and excited when around Thomas 😀😀😀👏👏👏❤.

I know that there are plenty of Trainz Thomas content creators on YT who all make really good stuff, but your, I guess you could say, style feels very comfy and natural, as if the camera shots, lighting, and narration are all actually from the show. I kinda like that!

She really isn't supposed to be like she is in the original episode but if you still feel that about the Rosie I wrote then um... oops

Thomas has a crush on Rosie was in love with Thomas doesn't even notice that Rosie is in love with him Thomas and Rosie loves each other they haven't seen each other they are best friends ever since they met they care about each other for being there for each other they promised to help each other that's what friends are for
I like the actual episode, but this rewrite is much better.
Am I not the only one who feels like the scene where Rosie first sees Thomas and then starts following him does that sound very familiar to when Amy first saw Sonic the story almost feels like a fan made Sonic story establishing when Amy first met Sonic that's exactly what this is really in this episode this exactly from season 2 of Thomas in this rewrite Thomas and Rosie feel exactly like Sonic and Amy I think the Sonic and Amy of Thomas and Friends people!!!

This was a nice rewrite. Although, if I had it my way, I’d have Mrs. Kyndley be the one that Thomas gives the presents too lol. I like the changes you made to Rosie’s character. It gives more depth to her and makes her less bland. I also liked the ending with Thomas and Rosie at the shed. Seemed very classic series-ish.

Just wondering but what was wrong with the original story?
I didn't like the motivations for the original characters. Also I didn't like the fact that Thomas just delivers the mail to a random girl. It's not as drastic as a change like in Don't Be Silly Billy though but I think it's still an enjoyable video :)

I'd say I would rewrite almost all of the Narrow Gauge centered episodes, exept for a few. One on the one's I would leave the same would be the one that reintroduced Sir Handle. I really like the idea that all that time at the quarry allowed him to mature.

Can you rewrite Middle Engine? We want to see Henry's mistake and got blamed by the manager not Percy who is blamed and Arry and Bert's defeat by Sir Topham Hatt and learning to be careful what you said is the life lesson for Middle Engine. It was the worst season 6 episode and needs to be rewritten and fixed. Good Luck.
Middle engine is a story that I will rewrite eventually but I'm not entirely sure when. I know what I'd change about the story including the things you said but I'm not sure when I will make it. Currently rewrites are sub goal rewards until i make content on s3-5 but a lot of people have asked for middle engine so if I reach 10k subs I will add it as an option in the poll

Narrator: That night Sir Topham Hatt spoke severely to Henry.
Sir Topham Hatt: I'm very disappointed, Henry. (Narrator: He said.) You know it's against the rules to shunt engines on to the tipper's loading ramp.
Henry: Sorry sir (Henry said sadly.)
Sir Topham Hatt: You'll shunt freight cars in the yards until I can get to the bottom of this.
Percy: Excuse me sir (Narrator: Percy jumped in.) I don't think Henry didn't meant to bump me... it's because these diesels made me a middle engine.
James: Pah! (Narrator: Said James thinking that he can hear.) I can handle those diesels with bent buffers and a busted boiler!
