- The PERFECT Way To Upright Rolled Containers. Hey CZcams, I'm finally back in action on these huge wrecks and rollovers! Shoutout to Alex, Dave, my dad and everyone else who held down the fort while I was gone, but man does it feel good to be back in HULK, my 50ton rotator, handling business. I was joined by Alex in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator, and Ricardo in unit 35, our 35ton wrecker. You'll notice my dad was on scene before us and that's because he got there first and straightened out the container for us to open up lanes.
We got there as he was putting the truck away and he let us work the rollover from there. The container was fully loaded with solar panels, so I estimate it weighed between 30,000-40,000lbs. Parking the rotators on the roof side would mean blocking half the freeway and that's not how we operate. In this case we decided to bring it to us, but room was pretty tight so barrel rolling the entire thing was the choice we made.
We've done quite a few barrel rolls, and I love them when you want to upright something in a controlled space. Not only does it look cool, but by having the equalizing sling on the wrecker up front it allowed the rotators to control everything and as you'll see, bring everything over so smoothly. Unfortunately, my camera equipment in Hulk wasn't fully ready and my camera died. I didn't have a chance to charge my stuff when I got back, and Alex's card ran out of memory at the end and he didn't notice. Not shocking, he did like 100 calls while I was gone for 5 weeks LOL.

You can tell that Josh was excited to get back to work, after being stuck at home for 2 months. And you all did an expert job of righting over this heavy load, it went perfect without a hitch. Welcome back, I know you miss your baby but we missed you. Good to see you teaching Ricardo the ways of barrel rolling a tractor trailer. You’re such a good instructor with lots of good jobs and praise for a job well done. People need to hear that, it helps them want to work somewhere when they know they are doing it the right way. I love that Alex does the same thing. He’s a great guy to learn from too. I also meant to tell you that the work outs yall do help prevent injury and help with seratonin production which makes people happy so yall definitely have it going on at Pepe’s. Yall got a good group of people there and yall obviously treat them very well. There aren’t many places like Pepe’s any more keep it going. It’s a great company. Yall are some awesome guys.

Honestly the only difference in terms of rigging between this and a regular rollover is one container pocket, so setup is identical but the results speak for themselves. No side loading the truck tires, no sliding the truck across the floor if the lines aren't directly over centre of mass and the smoothest catch possible. It's a win win

Barrel roll is cool. The way the truck was lowered gently to the ground was also cool. I seems your Father still had to go around to ensure everyone was doing things correctly. Josh, that was cool. They gotta do something about the angle of those on-ramps, way too many semis are rolling.
It's not the On-ramp Design that is the Problem it Is a Driver Problem and a Known Container Issue That Causes these flops With The Automatics the Driver just Floors it and Goes and Does not Have the Tactile Awareness as to What Gear and What Speed they are Going. And these Containers are Packed and Sealed at the Factory so How they're Secured is not in the Drivers Hands!
@@Chaplain_GM And the drivers have to take responsibility for driving these unknown loads? How is that even legally enforceable? A hostile power could booby-trap containers.
