- We learned about fluvial processes, or those dealing with water, so now let's learn about aeolian processes, or those dealing with wind. How does wind weather rocks? Quite similarly to water, but with less force. Let's check out some ventifacts and sand dunes!

For the past year I have been watching your Geology videos and gaining a vast amount of knowledge. I can’t wait to take my first Geology class in Spring and your videos have been a tremendous aid in helping me to prepare for the tough journey to come. I just wanted to say, thank you!
I just got wind of this video.
When did it air?

I randomly tuned into this series here and only understand like half of it but it sure was interesting
Hey professor dave, have you read the book "geoengineered transhumanism"? I'd like to dismiss everything as just made up conspiracies but honestly some of the fatcs presented are making me scared
This was surprisingly interesting
My friend?
I am here man 😊
I feel alive right now LOL
thanks!
That was super cool
A discussion on wind in the desert is just a bunch of hot air! ;-) Thanks for the great info, as always, Professor Dave.
Ohhhhh i cant WAIT for glacial weathering processes!
0_0 My brain feels like a parabolic antenna right now
It's also another name for the minor scale. Aeolian that is.
And what about patent 3951134?
Cool, Im sure Rodger of Mud fossil University will say no thats an actual ancient dragon or starfish in the sand.
Trans dunes are dunes that formed in such a way that doesn't reflect what they are on the inside.
That's a dusty snow hill
Pffft, Dunes move because of sand worms, obviously.
