@MrMilliron Thank you for your nice comment. I teach with fret numbers and string numbers because almost all of my viewers are beginners at guitar and most likely do not know music theory
@AMRsti93 I use the muscle of the palm directly below the pinky, that way you dont have to bend your thumb back very far

@zebrahead1100 My guitar is a 6 string, not 7. The one in this video is a "Schecter Gryphon Diamond Series" They are not made anymore but you can find them on Ebay once in a while

You don't need plugs on your amp for pedals, just extra guitar cables. I traded a guitar for my amp but I think the amp and cab are probably more than $1,000, but you can try some line 6 amps, they are decently priced
For guitar players, I know this song is in Drop C, but also I tend to hear an E note in the open C power chord in the chorus of this song. I think that if you put your finger on the 4th fret on the 4th string (the third on from the top) and play it with the open C, it would sound more the chord in the chorus.

what is your amp set up
Never mind my comment about the harmonic ring at the end of the chugging. If anyone is having trouble figuring if out, which I did, it's a natural harmonic on the 3rd fret of the low C string, using a whammy bar on the tremolo to 'bend' it downward and cut it off at the low point. Took me forever to figure that out

well I watched this video to figure out how to strum the chorus and it's not in the video anymore. So is the strumming constant or just once for each barre because that's what I thought but I can't tell cause in the song there is much more going on. Please Help, thank you

Most chugging is at least the 5th and 6th string. Sometimes the 4th string is used

i think i have some old vids when i was 15 on my page. I'm teaching and playing spanish flamenco right now at LSU for their guitar ensemble. so im not in the loop with cool modern ROCK.
you can chug if you rest the muscle part of your thump on the string you want to chuck lightly

In the cover video, he just repeats 5:27.
But in the actual song, and how I do it, is 5:27 but not palm-muted.
