I have one that I bought new for like $350. It was my first guitar I ever bought, and it's still my favorite to this day. Too bad you don't live in N. Idaho, there are 2 of them at Pawn 1 right now
AMAZING tutorial. This should be an exemplar for all the other tutorials. You explain things really clearly and you always have a split-screen for pickng hand and fingering. Keep up the great work. Your an amazing guitarist who's doing an excellent job of helping other aspiring ones take off.
@alexlikestosnipe This happens with almost every guitar. It is because your strings are used to being tuned to E. So when you go down to C, they are going to tighten up a little bit. Just keep retuning it till it stays at C, it usually takes 2 or 3 times to get it to stay. The same thing will happen when you go back up to E
@JustwannabeAlone You mute the strings with your palms. You play as you would usually play, except you'll have your palms resting behind the area where you're strumming, so it makes a flat noise.
Dude your tone is spot on! Well done! Although in the chorus part, after playing the open C5 chord there's an add on of the Eb4 note with the G string! You forgot that one!
Live Barry plays 15 on a, 17 on f, then 17 on d. He repeats that once then does 15 on a, 17 on f, then 18 on d. Lastly he does 15 on a, 17 on f, 20 on d and 18 on d. At the end of the song he adds a 17 on d and lets it ring.
You are absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you for making these videos!!! Because of you and your tutorials, you've made me a better guitar player. ^_^ +Aturn3d
I already have electric guitar but is has coils and I am looking for guitar to go futher in metal , rock hard rock and so on , not sure like what should I buy ?
winston whetstone they are only if you have extra money to install Humbuckers or EMGs... And it takes too much effort to upgrade it so you might as well buy one meant for Metal or hard rock... Like a Cort X
I don't think he is using an amp. Many people that make tutorials for guitars (or that are recording for youtube) don't use amps. They use some programs on the computer. Sadly i can't explain how they work and stuff
I have a classic fender squire with an amp. but the amp is kinda old like the guitar itself and has no distortion. does anyone have any suggestions for what amp I should get for heavy distortion?
This guy is really good and have some really great tutorials but pls guys don't do hold your "strumming hand" (the one that you hold your pick with) like he is! It's not the best way to do it and will only slow you down in the long run! Anyway nice tutorial !
You camera set up is amazing, your recorded sound is good, you explain how to play pretty good, but it's all useless when you'd on't know how to play the song.
Hey man, How do you record your amp, because i tried to record a cover and it sounded like shit. So like what distance away from the amp do you put your mic, etc...
Oh goodness. I'm not sure. I'm only 13, so I don't have a job. And I might save up, like, with money from my birthday, or allowance. But I don't want to ask my mom because she just bought me a piano. Hehe. ^^;
I wish this guy was still on YT, he was a really good teacher. Like your homie was teaching you to play a song with him in guitar class.
These vids are really helpful man I appreciate it and you have a great taste in music ;D

I just got my Hellraiser hybrid a few weeks ago black and charcoal gray. Man it's a killerguitar.
@JustwannabeAlone You mute the strings with your palms. You play as you would usually play, except you'll have your palms resting behind the area where you're strumming, so it makes a flat noise.
This is awesome! I've been waiting to learn this song for a long time, and you helped me. Thanks, keep up the good work :)

A Hellraiser is around 600-700 I think, but you can get a Diamond series like I have for around $300 at a guitar shop or even cheaper at a Pawn shop
You are absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you for making these videos!!! Because of you and your tutorials, you've made me a better guitar player. ^_^ +Aturn3d
Yes
In my opinion, the song sounds better if you play it in Drop D and another half step down, Drop C has a bit too much heaviness imo
+John Sturt too much heaviness is a very hard thing to find
bilel114 too heavy is great where appropriate, home doesn't quite fit it
The song is actually played in Drop C and that's what makes the song heavy... It's Nu Metal!
What gorgeous guitar do you have.
Why is he not doing any more videos (if u r going to do more videos can u Make a video for (Rains Liar))
Thanks, my nose needed a good blessing
Hey. I'm a beginner and I need to know what kind of guitar I should get. I've always loved Gibson guitars, but I don't know what to get. Can you help?
I already have electric guitar but is has coils and I am looking for guitar to go futher in metal , rock hard rock and so on , not sure like what should I buy ?
japesarcher Fourie just buy a Cort X series guitar or Jackson ... But I'd recommend Cort...thank me later! 😉
@chickenballstastever I'm still working on tuning in the settings. I might make a video though

The first couple notes you played sounded like I love rockin' roll by Joan Jet.
@theelephanttaco That's weird. Well the video is on his channel
Could you please teach phenomena by thousand foot krutch?
I would strongly recommend a Schecter Diamond Series. They kick major ass for the price

winston whetstone they are only if you have extra money to install Humbuckers or EMGs... And it takes too much effort to upgrade it so you might as well buy one meant for Metal or hard rock... Like a Cort X

@Aturn3d What settings is your amp on? it sounds SICK
Professional
I'm always going to be biased towards Schecter, beacuse they are cheaper and they sound just as good as most guitars in the next price bracket
i am thinking about getting a new guitar so what guitars to you recomend for me to get.

I was told that the 3-5-7-8-10-12 part was a hammer-on part, does it really matter????
hey this is good even if the gutar sounds difforent
You camera set up is amazing, your recorded sound is good, you explain how to play pretty good, but it's all useless when you'd on't know how to play the song.

thumbs up if u clicked it and it ruined the buffering of ur video!
i think the one guy that dislikes this s a drummer
@irishsoldier747 HAHA yeah xD
Cool but tone Is too thick
mr mister that was deliberate...to play the melody part where Adam says, ‘I'll be coming home just to be alone', this is the perfect tone!
mr mister he pretty much nailed the tone
Oh goodness. I'm not sure. I'm only 13, so I don't have a job. And I might save up, like, with money from my birthday, or allowance. But I don't want to ask my mom because she just bought me a piano. Hehe. ^^;
That guitar looks heavy..
Ah, okay thanks man.
