At today’s Microsoft Build 2017 presentation, creators at Cirque du Soleil demonstrated a custom creative toolset on stage using HoloLens technology. The world-class theater production company says the tools can be used to greatly enhance and accelerate the set design process for future shows thanks to real-time local digital collaborative design. But, speaking to Microsoft’s self-described Mixed Reality “spectrum,” it was also demonstrated how a remote VR user could seamless collaborate as if they were standing on stage with the others.

this would be perfect for high school and college science classes or any class that helps students visualize instead of just showing a picture. I hope I get one

In 100 years kids are gonna look at this and wonder why we would put that on our heads, and instead will use slick smart glasses

Aumentem o tamanho do visor presente no óculos porque é possível ver fora dos hologramas caso você olhe para o lado sem mexer a cabeça.

This stuff is still 10+ years off. Not until we eliminate the HMD all together. Also, my dog sheds a lot. The hair is everywhere.

Chris Arbaugh in 10 years time it will be mainstream (as in replacing smartphones) but it can be a "finished" product in less than 5 years time. But price would still be high and people will still be skeptical and not many will develop apps. Same with VR, the tech is great but in 5 years time it will have better controllers (gloves or something), wireless and will overall look way better (right now it's ps3/xbox360 level) but it would still be expensive and will still require a high end pc. In 10 years time it will be the best way to play games and watch movies/TV. I don't think HMDs are going anywhere for a while

Literally this is the future. This tech will be in your cars windshield for the best gps experience ever. Tv movies and Especially Video games will be like never before. Temporary furniture pieces to set the right ambiance or have a window that looks at the ocean. Literally anything you can imagine. Even wearable holographic clothes.

Yes. Youll be able to try on any clothes on sale on line. Theyll be projected onto you and you will be able to swap outfits to find the one to suit you with a swipe of the finger.
