I nearly bought a boat with an integral water tank but thankfully I didn't. The boat I did buy (and I didn't know at the time) had a stainless steel tank. In the future that will be at the top of my checklist.

Once you fit the cratch cover over the bow, that should stop the rain coming through the deck.
yes I think so.. im sure if we hold off a few weeks when they are ready all the trouble will be solved
Get a sandblaster, or a needle machine that will knock off anything that's loose.

I think you need to do a be kind to your environment course. If you can’t drink it don’t let the wild life drink/eat it. Be aware of your surroundings. 😀😀😀. Still a good video though 👍👍👍

Might enjoy using your TITAN to clean out the loose stuff in the water tank! Pick a nice cool morning to jump in that tank Chris. You'll be done in a flash! Besides, you are distracting our Becca and the countertop progress 🤔🤣😂!

Chris, Bex, have you thought about using a bladder in your water tank? Not sure they are available or of the right size but might save you some contortions if they are. Also suggest a water filter. Look-up Aquabion. I have one and in a very hard water area, no fur, And you don't have to do anything to them either.
yes we are currently looking into getting one actually, its just working out how large our tank is, maybe we can ask at the marina when the boat comes out for blacking, yes I think a filter would be a grand idea, thank you Terry
When roof leaks do you seal from the inside of house ? Seems trapping water isn't a good idea - Oh the dark oil color (or 250 hrs) usually means change /w filter - use an electric oil extractor $25 on Amazon 80W model - don't recommend using the Titian unless cleaning is your hobby.....
Yea it is a bit of a worry but I’m hoping it has just dropped through and evaporated, I would like to get the whole thing up but that’s a pretty big job and it does seam solid when walking on top, oh that’s interesting thanks for your advice
Hi Chris. I would be inclined to insert a bladder. As it stands the water quality will be questionable for drinking. Regards Dave
yes we have actually been looking into it, though quite a few people have said our tank isn't actually that bad, but it is something id like to update on the boat
Your water tank wasn’t so bad ,l’ve seen worse ! Tip-hacksaw the bald end of the wire brush off for maximum wear👍
oh great stuff, yes it didn't actually seam as bad as I thought when you got right down into it, thanks for the tip...yes I imagine it will probably let the wire brush get right into the corners, great hack :) thank you

Hi why are you messing about with tubes of silly sealer a very temporary bodge which will fail very quickly just go to screwfix a buy a cheap canvas sheet and put it over the cratch until you get a proper cratch made then you can wait as long as you like before getting the well deck welded.That water tank is one of the cleanest I have ever seen when I have had to recoat one you lucky boy
we will be having our covers soon so it was just meant to be a quick fix, to be honest I thought it would be a bit easier but so hard to get right in, oh thanks thats great to know :)
Applying sealant where the water comes out is just going to hold the water in.
Yes I did wonder that, hopefully the new cover will help 😀
Get some fibre glass and glass fibre in the lockers

Why don't you over plate the well deck? Also the bottom of the water tank won't rust as long as there is water in it, steel won't rust without air, that's why there is no need to black boats base plates. Keep up the good work
Oh that’s interesting thank you, it’s just with the amount of rust we’ve treated on the boat it’s hard to trust the scary water tank, and the tank haven’t always been full.though I’m sure it probably is safe, yes I would like to get the well deck cut out and re platted but it’s quite a big job and probably expensive, it is something we have been talking about though , thanks

In the old days watertanks were coated with cement. I think that was still a bit in there. Dirty job, i know.....
