Becca the toilet construction is coming on very well, and its so neat and square. Well done Chris on cleaning the Gas cupboard and fitting the duck hatch wooden inner pieces. YEP! We Love a Bit Of MAD Crobot - I reckon Your Hinges are Knackered on those hatch doors - I get the same problem with the back door to our 'House!' (Sorry - Didn't mean to Swear!) where the Window/Door fitter 'inset' them too far 😞 ... A nice little project to increase Your DIY Knowledge though - EH?? 🙂
Haha,yes we think it must be the hinges, not quite sure how hard it will be to fix but it's another one on the list to destroy while trying to use my new found DIY skills haha
Hi to you both another entertaining vlog. Chris, I did notice that that when you knocked your mooring pin it was angled towards the nb . I once pegged an awning down not thinking the angle mattered , how wrong I was🤦♂️. It’s brilliant how you always (?) manage to keep smiling. Take care!
yes it wasn't put in right at all, just a quick panic stump.haha were going to have to up our game these next weeks as we head out for a few weeks on the river to get the boat up to backing, exciting stuff thanks for sticking with us through all the madness :)

there really are so many bits to still do its working out which ones can be done on route, were actually not to worried about the survey as we do know a lot of the boats history, its more for peace of mind and what will be will be, we will get there eventually and take on the canal system, were heading up to the the marina at the beginning of august so not to long know, blacking has been essential from day one, thank you for sticking with us John :)

Got 11 ducks and Mum at Needingworth - there’re sweet but very hungry. The ones at the dolphin Hotel at St Ives are terrors and take no prisoners. Will be passing Fri AM on way to the Bedford River Festival in my Freeman 22/2 so will leave ducky food and beer on board for you both Keep well xx

We have invested in some duck pellets now as it's a bit nicer on them

FYI - I guess feeding ducks bread is "ok" (not ideal) but you don't want to throw the bread in the water because it can cause algae blooms. (So dry-land feeding only)
Cornflakes are better than bread. Bread is not good.
yes we know its not ideal with upgraded now to duck pellets which will be far nicer for them, oh thats interesting tanks we thought it would help soften it for them, thanks for your kind advise
