The cute cafe and food shots made me feel like I was in a foodie blog. The moving shots of you walking and exercising made me feel like I was in a wellness video. The gorgeous shots of the architecture including the Hudson Yards sculpture and the Highline made me feel like I was on an architecture tour. Not exactly related to this video, but would you be open to discussing the process of building menos? How much money did you have to save before starting, how you found suppliers and distribution. I’m a business nerd so I’m always interested to hear how people get started. My wife and I want to launch a product but we don’t think we have the capital to do so just yet.
Would love your thoughts on how American lawyers are different culturally to british lawyers! Eg does everyone go to a pub after work? And things that surprised you about American corporate settings. Also if you have meetings with the london office how does the time zone usually work?
Have you ever thought about adding a sleeve for the Menos pack for our carry on roller. I love the menos because it’s so sleek and I realize it goes on our backs but while in the airport I hate to carry anything. It would be the perfect addition to my go to travel accessory. Hi Liam, love your videos! Did you have to get permission from your law firm to start a business alongside working for them? I have a clause in my employment contact that says anything I create is the IP of my employer, but I would like to start up a business outside of work. Many thanks!
My PhD thesis is certainly not my employer’s, because it is done outside the working hours. I’ll have to ask permission to be self-employed in addition to my employment, but there’s really no way they could find out if you don’t want to say anything, unless someone sees your tax declaration.
