I adore BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & the ever amazing E STREET BAND! He puts on the most extraordinary show & my husband & my dream is to someday attend one of his concerts( my husband is 80 & I am 70 and been in our “bucket list forever!) Always sold out by time we try or “nose bleed seats” ha!, which I would gladly take if I could get them. Been watching hm since the beginning( we are retired now & both in bad health) but boy,” “I am determined to get to see them someday live!” What a thrill watching those in front row & he occasionally pulls someone up on stage to dance, etc! Oh my gosh! What a thrill! It is what dreams are made of & Bruce Springsteen & his extraordinary E Street Band( attending concert, center row, “IS MINE!”🤣Watching them sing this song( love Patti & each member in this band!) & every performance or concert is to me , “LIKE ONE GIANT & HUGE FUN PARTY EXPERIENCE, THAT EVERYONE ATTENDING IS PART OF!” So love them & this video!❤️
I sincerely hope you are able to attend one of his concerts - they are the best! I've been to more Springsteen & E Street concerts than I feel comfortable admitting to and each one is the best ever. The boss gives 200% of himself every single time and it's an experience you won't forget. Stay safe Karen and healthy.

When The River was out, we had a revolution and then martial law in Poland. I hadn't heard of Bruce until Nebraska. I remember thinking he was Dylan reborn with better voice.

I have been here in this hospital about a year and a half now. They’ve got me on a unit where grown men walk around holding teddy bears and sometimes talk about killing people. I think a few of them might have committed rape. I’m trying to stay positive and they are telling me I’m going into a group home soon. But would a group home be much better. Honestly Steve Van Zandt used to sing harmony vocal on this, and has done it again recently. His voice and Bruce’s blend perfectly on this song. Nothing against Patty, as I like her voice on some songs. However Steve should always do this one.

I wonder how the song was able to go on when Patty stopped playing her three chords @ 3:53??? I love Bruce but I have to say I cringe at times like that because it is so obvious that she just plays guitar to seem more important than she is. Most self respecting people who barely play that instrument would be embarrassed to get on a stage with it next to true guitar players like Springsteen, Van Zandt & Lofgren but she does it all the time when this clearly proves she is not needed. It also shows she cannot do two things at once. I can't believe The Boss is just another guy who lets his wife make ridiculous power plays, especially during a song of this magnitude.
