Hi John! This looks like a wonderful set of videos on HTML basics and I can’t wait to watch them all! Should these videos be viewed in any particular order? I don’t see them numbered. Thanks for all you are doing to teach beginners like me the baby steps. It’s hard to come across videos like yours that explain things so clearly and simply. I think some just want to impress with their “knowledge”, but you take concepts and make them attainable. This is the sign of a true teacher. I hope you put a series out on CSS, Flexbox, and CSS Grid. If you already have, I’ll go look for them. Thanks again!

The playlist is here: czcams.com/play/PLrG78JjvL7hUVmx_G77quXLzHf_mITJPE.html. Also, you can sign up (for free) at johnsfreetuts.com and get them all laid out for you, as well. I will definitely get into CSS at some point, but not sure when. These kinds of courses take a lot out of me. Appreciate your comment!

    Thanks so much ....
Ive a question why they called the tag an elements here "Some HTML elements have no content (like the element). These elements are called empty elements. Empty elements do not have an end tag!"

Tags are the the part the actuall HTML part like: . Those are tags. An element is essentially the tags plus the content, so This is some text... that's an element. So, it's very similar. Typically, when talking about these items in CSS and JavaScript, they're referred to as elements because typically the actual thing being modified by the CSS or JS does have content in it. Anyway... basically, the terms tend to get used interchangeably even though they are technically two different things.
