You can tell that Tattletales was taped in that same studio as this version of Jokers Wild was taped because the Blue Yellow (banana section) Red sections like in Tattletales

I can see the "Lucky 100" was also the precursor to the Audience Game I grew up watching in the '80s.

Jack Barry almost got "Samoaned" by Carmen.

I remember the audience feature of this show. People thought I was nuts when I said that there was once only one audience member playing (as opposed to the three that played towards the end of the syndicated run). Thanks for posting this!

WONDERFUL! This is great! I LOVE it! And I haven't seen "The Joker's Jive" bring on a show in YEARS!
    FANTASTIC!

Interesting addition to the show that I remember as a kid.
And kinda a strange moment when the lady gets all 3 Lucky 100s. Almost seemed like Jack didn't really know what to do.

I love Jack Batty, but his opening explanation was as clear as mud. And the man even had a cue card. Just part of his charm.

That was a neat video, with the music I hadn't known was a theme to the show, plus the feature I didn't know about. Thank you for sharing!

The Lucky $100 game was played by the regular contestants, but what a miracle for an audience contestant to take home that big jackpot!

    • @MrRemark21

In regular bonus game attempts, a natural triple of three same money amounts was an instant and immediate win was not added to the show until the syndicated daily version premiere in September 1977.

  • @JasonA.Routhier-vw1wd

Although I confess I did like the theme from the 1990 show too.

  • @JasonA.Routhier-vw1wd

I still remember THE JOKER JIVE theme but truthfully I never knew what it was called.I loved both Joker.s Wild themes.I still to this day can hear that Joker.s Jive theme in my head.I also love the 1978-86 closing theme. The Pat Finn 1990 version wasn.t too bad but not like old Jack Barry show.

Years before there was a Natural Triple Jackpot on The Joker's Wild, there was a "Lucky $100" on the wheels in which she pulled a Natural Triple of those 3 to avoid the Devil and won $16,217 in cash and prizes, including two trips. And it was the woman from Pasadena not Italy who won it all, a trip Around the World and a trip to Holland. This game show is now a Sony Pictures Television property.

I miss the way regular TV used to be its really sad in this day and age there are hardly any game shows on TV nowadays and that's exactly why I don't watch regular TV its too stupid there are too many stupid shows nowadays they make no sense so I started watching Netflix its more entertaining.
