2. Minced Red Chili and Garlic with sesame oil
3. Minced Ginger and Orange Zest with sesame oil
4. Lemon Zest and Black Pepper with olive oil
5. Basic store bought teriyaki glaze with sesame oil

8. Garlic Powder and Powdered parmesan cheese with olive oil
9. Sesame Seeds with Sesame oil
10. Cilantro coated with Sesame oil

This was an awesome video! I really like the way you’re taking this channel so keep it up!
Thank you plenty more to come next week. Got a fish head soup and ceviche video already filmed!
Man, I'm totally going to try my hand at making some of these. They looked awesome!
Chilli Garlic !
Great video Vic...Looking forward to many more!
Thanks for watching!
I have never tried fresh tuna but you make it look so good 👍👍
I have never had sushi, and yet my mouth was watering the whole time as well
What a great video! Will definitely be using the wasabi peas for next time
Add somethign spicy to it to kick it up. Those wasabi peas are not very spicy
Here for the cooking. :) Thank you for creating this channel!
Hopefully you'll be a guest eater on the show one day haha
Great channel, Victor! Could you do a segment if you have not already done so on how you bleed your catch? I’ve been trying the iki-jime technique but wanted your thoughts. Thanks again, really enjoy both channels👍
This is the innovative content we need 👌🏽
Thank you for the tips. we are trying both the orange ginger and the blackened today. I did a modification and marinated the ahi in orange juice, sesame oil and soy sauce for 10 minutes. I hope I can get it to sear. I will try to update tonight
Absolutely amazing brother!
Dang, that looks amazing!!! well done
I don’t eat Sushi Vik but I have to say your different versions look beautiful.😍 You outdid yourself. I’m really enjoying this new channel and I’m SO GLAD that you decided to do it. Wishing you lots of success. I’m sure this channel will be a hit.......it’s you and Brook.🤗 Awesome job. Thanks for sharing. Love you guys.
Thank you so much!!!!!
Looks super delicious 💯👍🏾
I loved the look of the wasabi pea crust
Man that’s looks awesome. I’ll take all of em!
I always mix raw black and white sesame seeds with ginger powder and Wasabi powder. It's a delicious combination. I LOVE using this with seared salmon. I slice a fillet into about 1.5" strips and sear, leaving it just slightly raw on the inside. Dip in spicy mayo!! Next time, I will definitely try coating with sesame oil first!! Great idea.
Good flavor comparison with a second opinion. I also love to catch and cook my own flavors, and I watch everything to get ideas. Although I never caught one, seared Yellowfin Tuna steaks is one of my favorites. I have yet to boat a Blackfin, (had them jumping behind the boat at Carlson Humps out of Marathon), but I will be doing the coated sears as soon as I do. Yellowfin is the first raw fish I tasted in Sushi back in about 2003, and I loved it. It was fresh caught by the person that fixed the Sushi. I think your cooking channel will do nicely. I've been cooking since about mid 1960, bout 10 years full and part time in restaurants, (assistant manager of two). Love to cook!
Thanks Stevo! It's hard to taste the difference between fresh yellowfin and Blackfin. The YFT does have the advantage of nice thick steaks, which is hard to get in Blackfin under 30lbs.
awsome man keep em coming😎😎
Wow love this
I'm digging the new channel as well as the first! I'd like to see a lobster bisque on here and an oyster stew! Great work and thanks for sharing!
Very great ideas.... yum
Oh Man you make it look so easy
Just watched this with my girl today, and we’re going to sear some ahi tuna filets 6 different ways. Thanks for the idea! Going to try a pistachio wasabi mix
That lemon pepper looks so good
Sweet man. Love the new channel. Don't know where to begin. Maybe a classic south Florida Cuban dish?
I love Spanish influenced cuisine. That and Thai are my two favorites.
Hi Viktor I love landshark fishing and like fishing also, what would you recommend as the best type of rod for some nice size sharks?
wow! very delicious. I like your Video very much
Perfect Chanel for me, love the other one aswell
in the past ive always haven't been a huge sushi fan, but this totally turned me on omg
Thats what its all about it, get out of your comfort zone and into your belly
Of course you have 6k your the best you inspire me just like brook
Hey Viktor, Noah here from Texas, Hey when is your cookbook coming out. LOL I would buy one if you ever decided to publish one.
Great video. keep them coming.
Vik, try a spicy peanut rub on it
. Loving all the videos. The blacktip video, it’s been a long time for me but I used to love eating it, Publix used to actually carry it way back when as well.
Peanut sounds delicious
Thai Curry Powder does a great job. If I could do it again I'd throw in some coconut flakes for the coating.
Oh man mouth watering
You make me hungry ! Som of these rubs would work well on most firm fleshed fish .
I will take some of the blackened please 😋
I don't know if you have the Dexter Brisket/Roast slicer, but try it next time you do seared tuna, or chill it a bit before slicing. That Yanagiba was not really slicing it that well.
Next time you catch a amber Jack do a sear with it,it’s really good .
Looks so good! Try cardamom lemon or orange.
Oh here we go finally the Second video!!
Lets goooooo
Super video.
Viktor, please stop sawing when you cut your meat. Start at the heel of your knife and draw it back towards you! One smooth slice.
Will do!
Off your general topic, what do you guys use to sharpen your knives?
Work Sharp ken onion
Different ceviche Recipes and which one do you think is best.
Already filmed haha will upload Monday!
I would try with a mix of saltgarlic powder and flour
I'm a raw tuna Man but I'm going to give the sear tuna a try because it looks so delicious 👌
U should really try infused olive oil, there is a shop here in the keys if you are ever here they are awesome our family uses them on everything, the store is called olive morada it is so awesome they have all different types and it goes awesome on some chicken or is you ever pan fry fish it tastes so good with this oil ( I recommend smoked chabani if you ever do buy)
I’ve heard of it nick stan promotes them! Or how about we do a video on our own Infused oils 👀
Nick Stan? Is that nick stanzick or someone else either way a video would be cool. Or you don’t have to make a video about it and you can just try them out
@@corbendean9043 Yep Stancysk we are going to collab once quarantine is over!
That will be an awesome video
New sub from your fishing channel
Where’s the link for the knife?
I'd love to see poke bowls
Try using OldBay it’s great
Oh yeah especially on crabs!
i want to see you do some freshwater fish like a way that I could cook LM Bass, Bream, Crappie or even Catfish. I live on the Texas and Arkansas Border in North East Texas and only 30 miles from 3 points where Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana all meet at one point. Grill it fry it or bake it you tell me how and I will try it.
I would not try freshwater fish,, They can have a lot of bacteria and more parasites.. though saltwater fish do have to be frozen to kill parasites that can occure. No freshwater no no no. and always prefreeze your saltwater fish be fore doing this.
Look so go. Made me hungry..lol
Viktor you need to start uploading on this channel again!
Hey viktor why you don’t make a cooking video with deer meat for Dener that will be awsome
Nice cooking studio @your second account
Video idea - homemade “Viktor style” canned tuna, in the spirit of non perishables and stocking up
Honey pistachio crusted tuna!!
I myself do not worry how to prepare Tuna, here in Oklahoma. , the only Tuna I ever see is in a can.
Hahaha
You should call this channel "bycatch n cook"
I have a unique name, but not sure I want to release it yet, stay tuned
Since Sushi grade tuna is expensive for us who can’t catch it, I don’t mess around. This isn’t just the best Seared Ahi Tuna recipe. It’s probably the most delicious thing you will EVER eat. Def make the recommended sauce too. www.allaboutsushiguide.com/Seared-Ahi-Tuna-Recipe.html. Maybe some day I’ll have enough Tuna to try different ways, just because variety is the spice of life, but I can’t imagine it could be better than this.
"Not a ginger girl" your right, she's a Maryann!
we have a question. we have $350,000 to buy a house on the water somewhere on the ocean with a doc. Would Hudson, FL be a good choice, I would buy a house in Pompano but they are high priced and we want to fish but is the fishing just as good in the Gulf, I notice you guys are fishing in the Atlantic side. We also can be close to Daytona beach. What is your advice if you were in my situation. We are moving october 2020 and we hope to meet you and brook someday. Please help, we want to live on the water but don't have much money to retire on now because of covid-19!!
In all honesty I don't know anywhere south of Stuart on the east coast where you can be on the water for that price. Maybe a condo! The Gulf is a better option price wise. The inshore fishing is great on the west coast, so is offshore, but much further run offshore in the gulf. Look into the Sebastian, Vero and north area for more reasonable prices and less crowding!
Landshark Outdoors OK I’m on it I’m gonna look I thought the goal was crappy fishing
Also when you guys catch fish and you have extra you don’t need can you sell it and ship it to us will buy it from you
Viktor, could you please number your videos, it makes them so much easier to locate!
Seasame seed!!
The only tuna I ever had was from a can
you should open up a restaurant.
The cardamom should be freshly coarsely ground
Cajun seared?🧐
You seen that glove on Viktor's left hand?
Well, that gloves fulla vaseline.
Well I'll tell ya what - Viktor says he's keepin that hand soft for his woman
lol now thats funny, I actually have stitches in my finger so im trying to keep it clean!
@@viktorhluben2824 Sure thing, bro ;)
Between you and me I still reckon Of Mice and Men had it right
Tfw no woman to eat my seared tuna with guys what do I do??!!1!?
Not a fan of that music. It's awful.
