As is often the case, the base specs offer buyers the best value for money in the model line-up, but is the Amarok a different beast?

Both the Core and Life grades feature VW's 4MOTION AWD system. It is a more efficient version of standard AWD and includes some great features of both AWD and 4WD.

IT'S a FORD Ranger made in South Africa it's got Fomco all over it. The driveline isn't VW it's Ford why does this bloke make references to the old VW engine
