I grew up with her in the eighties. The dolls smelled like the berry they were named after. They also has strawberry shortcake cereal it was amazing.
I watched a review of this yesterday and she goes ‘I wish this came out in spring it’s not very holiday’ and then goes ‘ok I’m dipping into emerald green’ and I wondered if she realized. I was actually pleased with this collection because yes it has red and green but you could wear it anytime and has some range. Probably MY favorite creative holiday release ever.
I thought the same thing. Really unique way to do a palette of Christmas colors that people will use all year long. Pretty genius!

@@AngelicaNyqvist the color story is still spot on strawberry shortcake. You know strawberry shortcake had friends so this theming can be expanded upon into color stories of her friends it’s pretty genius.

I hope mine comes soon. This gave me all the nostalgia. I’m 47 and Strawberry Shortcake, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Rainbow Brite WERE my childhood. Hopefully I use the sponge. It’s almost to cute to muck up with makeup.

This brings me memories, I am a 99' child and I remember being 5 years old and seeing this doll on toy stores. I had seen this in advertisements on TV, singing "Tarta de Fresa" (strawberry cake in Spanish).
This is a cute collection and it is adorable for those who remember this character ♡
I'm also 99', and I remember seeing these dolls in stores they smelled like strawberries, here in Brazil it's called "Moranguinho" (little strawberry).
I almost caved on this one because strawberry shortcake was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. That blush looks gorgeous! If anyone comes out with a rainbow brite collection I won't be able to resist!

Morning :) I am on the other end of the spectrum, Strawberry Shortcake ( along with Rainbow Bright AND Punky Brewster) was SUCH A HUGE part of my childhood. I especially loved Miss Blueberry. I remember going to Futurevision to rent, over and over, the videos. Those shows embodied me as a child. Strong nostalgia alert!!! I am not a lover of pink lipstick but that one is nice, it's different enough. I loved this release

I'm 46 and was OBSESSED with strawberry Shortcake as a kid! I had a huge collection of the dolls Which were all scented to match the character! I even had sheets and blankets! I've been wanting to try Glamlite for a while and this collection is definitely calling to me!
That pallet looks like a great Christmas palette without the theme so good choice to have that come out now

I’m a 48 year old 80’s kid. My favorite dolls were Barbie and Strawberry shortcake. I think strawberry shortcake is the most adorable doll ever made. Just looking at her picture makes me feel such nostalgia and her face brings me such joy! I’m getting this pallet
i LOVEEEED strawberry shortcake and rainbow brite as a kid!!! i was soooo bummed when the blush sold out so quickly, and then the collection sold out right before i was able to buy it, so i ended up just getting the palette and lippie set. i’ll get the blush eventually. i love the color story so much and the shimmers/duochromes look incredible. i adore red eyeshadow and i love pinks and greens together, and the look you created is absolutely beautiful. i love it. 💖💚♥️
I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a kid (I watched the revamped versions in the 2000s-2010 since I was born in 2000)... coincidentally, I just had *actual* strawberry shortcake last week for my birthday... I prefer the cake to this palette, lol but it's a super cute collection. Have a great day Angie!

Personally won’t ever order from glamlite after the way they have treated you, making you do things that is their responsibility not yours especially as it costs so much money to get it shipped out, honestly wouldn’t feel confident enough to order knowing how poor and shocking customer service and how they treat customers is just a huge ick!,

I love the look of this palette and have been a regular purchaser of Glamlite, but not sure I can continue to support a brand with such appalling customer service. Am so fed up of how bad customer service is becoming the norm 😞 sad times.
I was born in '81 and I remember the original iteration of Strawberry Shortcake and really loved it as a little girl. I just passed on this collection though because I have the Unearthly Strawberry Milkshake palette and I couldn't justify purchasing this as well. I may pick up the lippy though because it'd be a good color for me.
When I think of S. S it is ONLY the 80's version we watched. Whatever new episodes are on, I do not count.lol Remember Rainbow Bright? I looooved that show as well

I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a kid, I even had my bedroom decorated with her. As nostalgic as this is, pinks and reds don't really work with my complexion, so I passed on this collection. Of course, you make everything look amazing!

I loved my dolls because you could press their belly and a burst of strawberry scent would come out. Now as an adult I love makeup and when I dicovered your video just now i have to have it all lol

My sisters and I collected the Strawberry Shortcake dolls and other toys. We had Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Lemon Meringue Pie, a dog I think and some accessories. We used the bubble bath too! My older sister had some Ss kids makeup and I was so jealous! That would’ve been around 1982-3-4. The dolls were scented and so cute. Wish we’d kept them. They’d probably be quite collectable. We weren’t allowed to watch TV so I never saw the show but there were little books too but I thought they were ‘babyish’ and my younger sister loved them so I used to read them to her.

I picked it up and I just received my shipping confirmation today. Since I’m in LA, I know I’ll receive it soon. I was an 80’s kid, so the nostalgia was a little bit of a factor in me purchasing the collection…. But Glamlite is also one of my favorite brands. My sister and sister in law, who aren’t into makeup like I am, also purchased the entire collection.
I’m so excited for this! One of my own personal yearly predictions was that we would see either a Rainbow Brite or a Strawberry Shortcake collection in 2022! I’m so glad I was right!

I love the color story ( except the reds ..) cause I don’t normally wear reds because I am fair skin with pink undertone and I feel like reds me look sick …. I wish I could work with red though… because they look so shocking and bold and so sultry ! This is cute. I liked strawberry shortcake as a kid, but I was more into rainbow bright. I would love it if some brand would come out with a really good rainbow bright collection.
I played with scented dolls as a girl that were obviously rip offs of strawberry shortcake, even so the theming doesn't really pull at me. BUT the colors are so pretty and it's done so well! Those are my favorite kinds of greens. Love your look!

Doll/cartoon from the 1980s/90s. In the early-80s when I was like 6 years old, I had the entire sheet set and the doll that smelled like fake strawberries. My grandma bought them for me at Kmart..Oh, I loved that doll..🥰🍓

For me, Strawberry Shortcake was very popular in the 80s, though in my country she was called "Fresita". I even had my school bag and lunch box of this character. However, I don't remember watching that show, but that she was more popular in cards, posters and merch in general

I wasn't very hyped for this collection since I wasn't ever into strawberry shortcake. However, after watching your video this morning, I couldn't stop thinking about the duochromes. I'd love to see this compared to, or combined with, the Strawberry Milkshake from Unearthly Cosmetics! I have that one, which is a more saturated jewel pink-red-green than your Oden's Eye palette (which I also have, to be honest!) They don't look too similar in the shimmers, but I wonder how close the strawberry inspired mattes are
Next year they should do a palette fir strawberry shortcakes little sister apple dumpling. The color theme again is red and green but apple red and green apple so it would be a warmer color story than this but also have the red and green holiday colors

Lol I had a purse, slippers, makeup table and a doll. When you squeezed her belly, the Strawberry smell would come out of her mouth. Haha
