Chapter 5 isnt my favorite by any means (I cant stand flavio lmao😂😂) but Cortez and the Crump battles are some of my favorite moments in the game and i love how cortez goes from being one of the coolest bosses in the game to just being marios amigo its just funny honestly. Flurrie is also very helpful in the cortez fight as she can blow away all the weapons and they will not come back for the rest of the battle if she is succesful in her gale force attack (which is a near guarantee if you execute her action commands right) and you can also use vivians fiery jinx to keep the weapons at bay, but flurrie is the most effective for this fight :) as she has the only attack that can permanently get rid of the weapons
I just save my star power to use the "bouncing" attack, that costs 2 and deals up to 6 damage to get rid of the weapons.
Chapter 5 isn't my favorite either. Although the shipwreck scene when they first see the ghost is pretty awesome. I had NO idea Flurrie could do that in a boss battle 😲. That would be so helpful! I also love how Cortez is just a big softie that's got your back.
Earth Tremor is my usual go to special attack but I rarely am able to get the last action command for 6 damage 🤣
