- I view fishing trips in a couple different ways.. Most days I wake up, with my hopes set high, and try something challenging with a high reward. Sometimes after being 8 hours in to such endeavors plans change. It gets to the point I'll take whatever I can get. Catching something is always better than catching nothing. PAAA POWWW!!!

Just finished eating some catfish & crappie I caught in central Nebraska over the weekend. I remember seeing that hole I think. Might be mistaken but I think you took boobers there.
Also, I lost a 8-10lb kitty from worn out braided line. My line just slipped at the knot after I got the fish out of the stump. Taking the "old" line off helped.
