Your opponent's lead has made me realize something: despite having a good Attack stat and a decent move pool, nobody ever uses Grimmsnarl for anything but Prankster support on a really solid defensive typing. So, I'd like to see you bring an all offensive Grimmsnarl set in one of these battles.
I love using a bulk up set on grim
I've tried that before (think I also used Bulk Up like the comment above)
It's decent, but it's low speed and not fantastic bulk holds it back imo

Arcanine was originally supposed to be the sort of "leader" of the legendary birds. It was a scrapped idea that still exists in Arcanine still being labeled as "The Legendary Pokemon" and an early episode, where there's a mural of the trio with an Arcanine.
That gives more context to that scene in the Pokémon opening where Ash is riding on Arcanine. Thanks for the added info.

The best extreme speeder is Arceus,
In a double battle, have Ursula Blood moon and an ability swapper, switch mind eye to Arceus then use a Pokémon with curse, then baton pass to Arceus. Terra Normal, beat everyone, but ghost type.

Curse x Extreme speed is pretty nasty. I made a similar set for doubles a while back, except I utilized Howl over curse because you know, doubles 😅 Anywho, another absolute BANGER from the 🐐
I just now realized the ACTUAL name for the ability is Protosynthesis.
I literally read it as Photosynthesis the entire time I played the story mode, and I even questioned why a prehistoric pokemon would have that ability. Now it all makes sense.
Man I always wish burn out or burn up would leave you normal type to get stab e speed instead of ending up typeless it could’ve been the early version of Tera.
The curse set is nasty to his 100 speed but these dank sets are why I’m here lol

I really like Hisuian Arcanine, and it makes me a little sad that nobody likes it's Rock Head ability. Rock Head Head Smash with Choice Scarf is fun to sweep with.
