A minor detail in this episode, but I love how Plagg seems to genuinely like Marinette. He gets along with her well enough, respects her position as Guardian, and supports her relationship with Adrien
The one time he got upset with her was in Kuro Neko, where she definitely did make a mistake; he was trying to protect Adrien's feelings while also desiring to see the two's superhero partnership stay strong
Tikki also seems to appreciate Adrien, though we don't often get to see that... In any case, I just think it's a sweet detail that these two god-like beings love these kids so much
Not gonna lie, Gabriel's villain talk with Marinette in the kitchen is PEAK MIRACULOUS
I agree that Ladybug trusting Felix and Kagami going out with Felix feels rushed as well. However, ladybug's decision doesn't feel too out of nowhere since she still has doubts but she trusts Kagami and she allowed herself to be snapped out of existence trusting that Felix would bring her back so I guess she kinda trusts Felix given that she's heard Felix's motivation. There is a senti-implication with Kagami with what Felix has said at the end. I love the interaction between Gabriel and Marinette. Marinette our girl slayed!!!
Not to mention Felix technically has no reason to trust Ladybug since she has killed sentimonters before. Which made Felix hate her!
Ladybug trusted him based on what her lucky charm showed her . Felix trusting ladybug was because he didn't have any other choice and also he trusts kagami , so, he listened to her. Felix doesn't yet trust ladybug completely until he knows it's marinette
I love this episode Marinette was so brave for standing up to Gabriel he is a terrible father that doesn't deserve Adrien.
Tomoe has proven she's a terrible and disgusting mother. Good on Felix for making sure Kagami is safe from her!
Here's why i believe that Adrien being a sentimonster isn't a problem at all: (this is gonna be kinda long btw but i would really appreciate you reading this❤😊)
First of all the power of the peacock miraculous is emotion because when you create something/someone, you feel a specific emotion at the moment which is a huge contribution to the character of the being that is created. As Master fu explained in season 3 episode "Feast" when he decided to use the peacock miraculous to create a companion to bring him some food from the kitchen his main emotion was *hunger* which led to the creation of a hungry-for-miraculous creature.
Furthermore, a sentimonster is a representation of the emotion felt the moment of the conception of the sentimonster. This way, a sentimonster doesn't have to be *monsterous* if the emotion you feel while creating it is genuine and of course the behavior of the sentimonster is also affected by who posses the object that holds the amok.
As we see in season 3 episode "Ladybug" Mayura created a sentimonster of ladybug in order to trick cat noir and gain his trust as the "real" Ladybug. Senti ladybug was following orders from mayura because she was the one who possessed the amokatized object but as soon as ladybug seized this object from her (the Eiffel Tower thingy) ladybug told senti ladybug to be free but help her with getting back the peacock miraculous from mayura and senti ladybug agreed showing that with the right orders(the order of being free) a sentimonster doesn't have to be any different than a genuine human being.
Lastly i want to note that if Adrien is a sentimonster then the object that holds the amok is in my opinion gabriel's ring which we always see twisting around when ordering Adrien. And if you think about it Gabriel has a certain position while controlling adrien which is always whith his hands behind him and you go back to even season 1 you can see that this is the position he is most usually talking to Adrien when telling him to do something.
Anyway to sum it all up i want to say that Adrien being a sentimonster doesn't change anything. A sentimonster is created to represent something and if adrien is one then he is representing a human being because that's what he was made to represent. The only difference he has with a "normal" human being is that he was conceived via a magical procedure whereas a human is conceived in the womb. He still has feelings, a purpose in life and experiences all kinds of emotions just like an actual human being😊
I think everything will be fine with her reaction, because in fact Adrien was actually born, not created

Actually, from this episode, things starts to go really fast until the rest of the season.
AND I FREACKING LIKE THIS
Yeah, this is the final act of this season. From now on the episodes are strongly connected next to next episodes.
The Gabriel and Marinette confrontation was super good in this episode. It seemed to have a lot of parallels that showcase the differences between the two characters. Here was a bunch of ways that I thought it could be interpreted as (although there could be more, but this is all I could think of):
1. The difference between the ideologies of Ladybug and Hawkmoth and/or what they represent
2. The difference between the actual powers of mainly Hawkmoth (Creates villains by telling people what they want to hear and lies that he is in their best interest) and Ladybug
3. How Marinette and Gabriel view Adrien
I think episode 17 was important because of Chloe relationship with Zoe and the staff of the hotel was challenged, along with Sabrina’s resolve being pushed to its limits.
Amywaaaaay, fun continuity thing I noticed. So in the season 4 finale people were criticising the finale because Gabriel was able to use the Yo-Yo despite ladybug being detransformed: Then it returned to her when she transformed again.
However, this episode showed the same thing, where when adrien detransformed, the staff remained, but when he went back into cat noir, the staff dissolved and returned to him.
So this kind of shows that if someone steals a miraculous users weapon, that weapon stays around even when the holder detransformed, and only returns to the holder once they transform back. So that’s neat.
Also, Gabriel making a Emilie sentimonster makes no sense, otherwise he’d be sick like Emile and Natalie. He doesn’t want to recreate Emilie, or simply bring her back. He bows want to save himself, nathalie and Emile. A sentimonster would be like replacing her anyway.
Personally on my stance, since they’ve (in my opinion) they’ve been foreshadowing adrien being a senti being since season 3, with the introduction of the twin rings. The power of the peacock was powers seemed to be around in concept since season 1, but the peacock has been shown to create exclusively living beings, while the kwami of creation has only made objects which is… interesting. Regardless, ironically there’s more proof of Kagami being a senti monster then adrien, which is… distressing. But I digress. Loved the reaction!
The miraculous is fixed anyway now.

One detail... Matagi Gozen also got the power of the Tiger Miraculous. The scripts reveal that Monarch also transfered Clout and that is showed during the fight between Cat Noir and those two Matagi Gozen under the Eiffel Tower, where one of the arrows shot by one of the clones exploded with purple smokescreen.
But wasn't shown for some reason?
@@emircanozad914 When making the final version, they always cut or alter many parts of the original script. Apparently, they didn't bother to make the scene where Monarch transfers the power of the tiger.
This scene with Gabriel and Marinett will be mentioned in the finale.
Stop spoiling the show
So essentially ler's say a character had reproductive problems if the peacock miraculous can create a womb or create something to make up for whats not working then the baby that is born would actually be human The ladybug miraculous can create something to achieve a specific purpose while the peacock creates something out of a emotion and the creation embodies that emotion for eg. Feast was created to be an embodiment of hunger because Master fu was angry and hungry when he made the sentibeing

I'm not so sure they are... I know the press website initially showed "15 - 27", but I think it's important to note that it only says "6 episodes" now; I think it was a mistake due to the nature of Action being a special episode, so the real ones being added may only be 15 - 20 and 27. Even if they aren't added then, they probably won't be far off, since the finale premiers in the first week of September
Maybe they really will dump it all, obviously I can't know for sure, but... it doesn't really match their usual release pattern. I also haven't seen a source besides the press website, which I will reiterate was changed to only say "6 episodes", so nothing about the rest is confirmed just yet

This story is getting interesting more and more
I watched a lot of anime growing up and i have seen episodes where people cross a certin line and end up paying the price, being their reputation or they lose everything. That line is driving a wedge between two lovers and Gabriel has just crossed that line. Not only is he sending his son to London to keep him away from Marinette but he is forcing an arranged marriage between Adrian and Kagami so he can keep all that tech for himself. And the worst part is that Kagami's mother is in on this evil scheme too. Both kids told them the truth and just wanted to stay friends but the parents won't listen. The time for revenge is at hand and both families need to either repent their misdeeds or suffer an awful fate worse than death of course Gabriel is already dying so he will burn in hell no matter what happens now.
Business things. They just can't do some changes on the contract can they?
I just wanted to say that I don't think Gabriel is sending Adrien to London _because_ of Marinette. I do think he rushed it because of her, but he knows he's dying, and he also knows Natalie is kinda dying too.
I believe he's just doing what Natalie said, think of a solution for Adrien when they both are gone.
Adrien wouldn't be allowed (or shouldn't, legally) to live in Paris all alone. The logical thing would be his legal guardian (don't know the word in English) would became his aunt, who lives in London. So Gabriel was already planning on Adrien studying in London, so that it would be easier, once he's gone.
(Also, please no spoilers, I haven't finished the season yet)
Kagami and Felix actually works, at least as their holders. In ancient China, the emperor is referred to as the dragon 🐉 (kagami) and the empress is referred to as the peacock 🦚 (Felix). But yeah I think they could’ve developed more for us to like it even more

i think it's phoenix for queen and dragon for king, it can be understood in other ways as husband and wife. but i see what you mean kagami and felix both represent the above two so maybe they will match, and become great couple.

Great reaction video! Yeah every child deservse a parent/parents but not every parent deservse a child, well said, I also think that way. Ninth grades after they finish here in miraculous (I think Paris too but I don't know much about Paris school sistem) move from they school, for an exemple in Romania after you finish your 8 year you move to another school for your well next years . And you can't bring back someone with the peacock miraculous, you can only give life to a being who has emotion, in any way possible but you can't give life to an iteam because it doesn't have emotions. "Because the writting starts to *does the thing Older Alex/Bunnix did in Timetagger when Chat/Cat Noir asked about him and Ladybug in season 3* lol and Amilie is Emilie twin sister otherwise people would have been suspicious already especially because Amilie had a husban who died and it was explained in I think season 3. And a senti-being isn't a robot because 1. Human are human beings 2. animals are beings 3. what do they all have in common? Emotions 4. You can give life to a being who has emotions but iteams, they don't have emotions 5. With the peacock miraculous you can give life to a being, either a giant lolipop 'monster' or if you want you give life to a human because of emotions and a being you gave life to they are still a being. And don't worry this isn't a spoiler or anything because some informations are from season 3,4 and a litle of 5 because only in this seasons we had seen senti-beings :D

This is honestly one of my favorite episodes. However not for the Adrienette. At least not for me.
However I do agree with Marinette on the pancakes. Butter is the way. Not flour!
Can't wait Hungary and every episode is coming to Disney+ including the finale and Action!

In my most humble and honest opinion, I would like to share my thoughts about Felix in this episode and the whole idea about senti-monsters.
First of all, we can clearly see that Felix has strong attachments to senti-beings when he told Kagami not to call them that. Also, in my deepest most honest opinion I truly believe that any type of being that are created by the Miraculous of the Peacock have just as much real emotions as actual people do. “Sentimonsters” are living beings with real souls and emotions. Yeah, the source of them being brought into this world might be different, but they’re still living,breathing creatures.😢 Felix stated, “When you bring a living being into this world you have a responsibility towards them. Your duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence. To deprive them of that…is MONSTROUS.” Looking at this, we can all agree that senti-beings shouldn’t be treated as objects. We know that sentimonsters are just as important as natural creatures because when a Peacock miraculous wielder says, “Bring my creation to life” that pretty much means that the miraculous wielder is giving “birth” to that being. The only difference between real creatures and senti-beings is that their life is tied to an object, but real creatures aren’t. and that’s okay…as long as the object stays safe. Again, this is only my opinion and I don’t mean to offend you or anyone else in any way shape or form.😢
I’ve really come to love Adrien and Felix as characters, so if anything were to happen to them I would LOSE IT!!!
Also, I would really like to see Adrien/Cat Noir and Felix/Argos work alongside one another on the same side, and rekindle their relationship.

Thank you for your comment, it was a good read. However if you state that Senti-monsters are living breathing beings then that makes the Peacock Miraculous way too powerful and should be forbidden to ever be used. If this miraculous can create living breathing beings, then this should be called the power of creation not emotion. Even though you use your emotions to create it, you are still creating something almost out of nothing, a living being. So I would like to argue that the Ladybug Miraculous shouldn't be called the power of creation, instead it should be called the power of restoration. Because the Ladybug Miraculous restores everything that has been damaged or destroyed by other Miraculous powers. There was no proof that the power of the Ladybug Miraculous could create living beings, but if the Peacock miraculous can bring beings to life then it is way more powerful then the ladybug. If what you are saying is true then can you see my frustration on the show for how bad the writing and continuity error is. It's going against what it stood for in the first 2 seasons. Its also going against common facts and reality to what a living human being is too. There is a movie that I am comparing this theory too, the Astro boy theory. I would go into more detail about that but that would take all day, and I tried to summarize my reply to you. lol Thanks again for a good discussion comment.
@@HungaryHarmony20 Yes, I understand your frustration,but I heard that Jeremy Zag will be taking over from Season 6 of Miraculous Ladybug and onwards. Thomas Astruc only wrote the storytelling until season 5. So, hopefully the writing will start getting better and more fluid chronologically in the Miraculous timeline. Also, I do agree that the Ladybug Miraculous should have been called the Miraculous of Restoration instead of Creation.😊
@@HungaryHarmony20 I forgot to mention if it turns out that Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir: The Movie has better writing than the series, since this is a retelling of the show through Jeremy Zag’s eyes then we can only hope that from Season 6 onwards it gets better. 🤞

The power of the peacock miraculous is givving a body to emotions.
If the sentimonster theory is actually true , it can be anything that emillie created. She could have created a womb , a sperm or an egg. We dont exactly know what she created but from ep wishmaker , Adrien didnt just appear because that way he would know he is a sentimonster.
Adrien must actually be a human just the cells that create him might not be natural.
Sentimosnter are just beings that can grow and live so they are not tobots

It really sucks that the pacing of this show is so bad, The whole sentimonster thing only started with foreshadowing on Season 3 really and Felix wasn't a thing till there

Episode 17 was kinda meh. So I understand why you didn't like it.
Like it could've gone somewhere. But it really didn't. Also I love the idea of Feligami. But I can understand you thinking it was rushed a bit. See I feel like it would've worked better if it had gotten some development to start with back in season 4. Gabriel Agreste the episode could've been a good start. But unfortunately and I mean no ill intent saying this. The show focuses on Marinette even when she's not needed in an episode. It gets a bit tedious if that makes sense.
You know for me episode 17 felt like a filler episode to me like it felt very rushed like so rushed it felt like I was only watching it for 10 minutes
