Good luck with the test! Remember: no need to stress out, failing is not the end of the world. I stupidly failed my first test on the second minute, booked another one in a few days and passed it without a problem. Luck is an important factor 😉

@@unyieldingmonotony4453 I failed my first exam in QLD as well, stupidly failed within the first minute. Nothing to worry about - you just learn how not to drive when failing an exam, eventually everyone passes this exam.
A few minor errors and a little heavy on the acceleration at times. Needs to slow down and be more aware of pedestrians and going around parked vehicles with oncoming traffic but overall very good driving, and a lot better than most Australian Drivers. Well done!!!

Вот только по внутреннему кольцу проезжать напрямую - уж больно сильно сбрасывать надо. Едешь себе по дороге со знаком 70-80, а через каждые сто метров оттормаживаться надо до 30, ну или с визгом и мотаниями проходить, как некоторые из местных делают, но за такие фокусы штраф некислый можно схлопотать...
okengurenie для того и сделали кольца, чтобы скорости на перекрестках снизить. А у нас что ни авария на перекрестке, то морды вдребезги, если пешехода сбивают, то он в полёте сигарету успевает выкурить. Всё "авось" и "проскачу". Кстати, поздравляю со сдачей!!!👍
Those are additional checks I believe, examiner picks up one or two of them. There are multipoint turns, T-intersection U-turns, parallel and reverse parking, reverse driving, some hill starts for manual transmission etc.
Never heard about it, probably not anymore. UPDATE: oh, just realised you were talking about hands position on the steering wheel! Yes, this is checked by examiners (one-hand driving is a minor error at least), and definitely taught by driving instructors

Но сначала вынесут мозг и все-равно попытаются оштрафовать. Потом можешь доказать, что не верблюд, но наш народ обычно забивает и платит половину от выписанных 1200...
В QLD правила следующие: на выезде всегда включать левый поворотник, подъезжая к кругу с намерением ехать налево - левый, прямо проехать - въезжаем без поворотников, направо проехать - въезжаем с правым поворотником. Всё что не строго прямо (не ровно полкруга проехать) - это или левый или правый поворотник, чтобы не вводить в заблуждение других водителей.

Двойную сплошную пересекать можно только для обгона велосипедиста. Одиночную сплошную можно пересекать для заезда/выезда с прилегающей территории.

@@fanatSIBIRI: если едешь прямо (примерно 170-190 градусов) поворотник до въезда не включаешь, на выезде включаешь левый поворотник.
