Guys, 😂 Relapse came out in 2009. It was Em’s first album after him disappearing. During this time he was teaching himself how to rap again since he never did it sober. Detroit is known for Horror Core. It’s rap in the form of like horror movies. Please keep that in mind when you rate Relapse songs.
The last song he recorded before the relapses album was “When I’m Gone” because really thought pills where going to end him. And
“Beautiful” this is on relapse but it’s not a horror core song. It’s the only song he kept from before he went to rehab. I’m going to look to see if you all already reviewed “When I’m gone and Beautiful.” There personal songs, not bangers but still a really good listen.
You guys need to react to "Marsh" ,"Darkness", "Lock it up" and a few others off Music to be murdered by. Insane bars on that album. Keep it up.

Two things, firstly there’s the character “slim shady” Em made up, and he just says the wildest shock value shit. Things you’re so shocked it’s unreal he’s saying it but that’s the reaction he wants. Then once people knew him nothing fazed us anymore, we’d expect it lol He’d bring him out on some songs, it’s who made him really. His first lyrics to ever be said in his career was “Hi Kids, do you like violence? Do you want to see me stick 9 inch nails through each of my eyelids” in his first song “My Name is” but he got crazier and crazier lol When he was singing at the end, he made up this character “Ken Kaniff” and he sounds like that and the two little songs he sang at the way end were the chorus to two of his songs (with different words obviously lol)

Every where he went there were protests, there were hearings held in Congress about his lyrics, and he was investigated by the George Bush Jr’s Secret Service. In some foreign countries he was under threat of arrest when he performed. Dude has some serious testicular fortitude.

This is off the Relapse album, which I pretty much equate to a horror movie in hip hop album form. It’s…. A lot. Creative for sure, but the content of the lyrics aren’t for everyone.
this song was epic and under appreciated because it was eminem finally going back to his roots of how he used to rhyme. That's why the beat is the way it is. For years after Eminem Show etc... people wanted Eminem to rap like he used to. And after like 3 CDs it was more focused and hit driven.... this song was on the very end of the CD and was a shocker because he used his old flow and style... By the end of the CD you didnt expect him to go back to his old style... then suddenly this song came on, and it was like 8 years of waiting and he finally did it again

He’s part of the skits and at the end of Underground Ken Kaniff did a parody of Em’s song We Made You. This is the Relapse Era Slim Shady this was a time after he almost dying, surviving going to Rehab relapsing twice and he had to learn motor skills and how to rap again. He was on a psycho killer binge.
Eminem did not like Relapse Album. He said he relied too much on rhyming with the accents. Because he was still going through rehab. He said he basically said he had to learn how to rap again. After overdosing from pills hence the accent rhyming he does on Relapse Album.
