I have "NO APOLOGIES" for keep requesting this song by Em
@@flakednbaked6214 the algorithm predicts their movements. Other reactors only post requests once they receive a donation. Be patient lol.
Pin this comment and if you are a eminem fan and disagree þhen shut up and listen to it
The song's from the Soundtrack. He's rapping about the perspective of him writing rhymes, trying to get better as Rabbit from 8 Mile. This song is not about crazy bars, it's about his delivery and showing you the perspective of the character. Half past three is three thirty. He's talking about him thinking his rhymes are sucking and he needs to write better, but, the more he forces it, the worse they come ut and he questions why he puts himself through this and then that is why it ties into Jimmy and going to work to "Beat the Clock" and he remembers he does not want that life and that is why he puts himself through this pressure, that he actually does not even enjoy.
YESSSSS! I have asked for this one for a while. The storytelling on this is so good. He is talking about the process of writing his rhymes and what goes through his head and the battles with writers block and needing to produce. No chorus just flow. Killed it!
Next suggestion is one you MUST BE READY FOR, Lupe Fiasco - Put you on game. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO THINK. The flow, bars and perspective are open to interpretation and INCREDIBLE. If you do this song, you have been warned. Keep grinding young fellas 💪🏾 @cartierfamily
This track is from the movie 8 mile. His name in the movie was Jimmy Smith. The half past 3 means 3:30. So he’s saying he was struggling at midnight and still struggling at 1, 2 and even 3:30.
Could also be an anecdote to the Song 3 a.m. Cause he remembers to have read the clock at 1 a.m. then 2 a.m. and then at 3.30. So maybe he doesn't remember the time from 3 a.m. till 3.30 (cause if he remebers this time, then he would remember to have looked at the clock at 3 a.m.)
Eminem "Saying goodbye to Hollywood"
"We as Americans" and "No Apologies"
There is nobody better than Eminem. He has so many good songs. It's sickening.
Thank you for doing this one! Love this song because it builds you up but also tells you to keep focus and keep pushing for what you want.
He was happy at the end of 8-Mile because he "found his voice". He won on stage. He knew he COULD flip an audience. He KNEW he could pursue rapping without feeling like he was spinning his wheels doing nothing. All he had to do was gain the confidence to get on stage and spit.... which he didn't think he had until he did it and won.
Yeah, he was going back to his "dull life", AT THE MOMENT.... But his DREAMS were still alive and he knew he could pursue them despite all the personal set-backs he already had to endure to get up on stage and win the battle.
I hope in my next life or lives I’ll be able to do anything close to this. Cause right now I have filler life for sure!
This song is like my ultimate hype song, it makes me feel like I can do anything if I put my mind to it.
One of my favourite em songs. Just straight up bars and fire. Sick reaction guys
I just can't get over that some people still can't admit that he is simply the best rapper when looking at the great picture. He is simply so diverse that he combines 3 rappers in one (MM, Eminem and slim shady) to express the thoughts in his head. The greatest lyricist (is there one english word he hasn't in his vocabulary and the unreal capability to use them with countless metaphors and comparisons noone even thought about, put together in sick rhymes, best style (either pick one out of the hundreds or just the fact that he has hundreds is enough to make him stand out above any other rapper ), the best bars, countless of them in one track e.g. alfreds theme, the best battle rapper (none of the greats in the game want beef with Em) and one of the best storytellers (subjectively therefore only ONE of the best) not to mention that he holds the world record for fastest rap (Godzilla) or that he does all this shit for decades. One could go on forever. Every rap fan should objectively have no doubt that he is the best rapper because he simply masters everything that makes rap rap on a level that is above 99% of all others. For the remaining 1%, he is still one of the best. You don't have to like him or celebrate him, everyone has their own taste and that's not to be criticised in any way, but to have the goat debate is to make objective comparisons and separate yourself from personal preferences. Then there can only be one answer
It's subjective. No one is right or wrong it's purely opinion and what you look for in music.
@@shepps-xs7dy absolutely agree with you, but skill is comparable, what it takes to be an expert at something is objective, therefore if we are going off of pure skill then Eminem is the greatest rapper to have ever lived period.
Its an excusable at this point. He's basically Michael Jordan and people trying to argue for Lebron. The accolades everything he dominates.
if you continue to listen to his old songs, you will understand why he had such an big impact on such a mass of people. its not his lyrical wordplay (even though he is the G.O.A.T at it). It's his ability to paint a picture for the one who is listening. Doesnt matter if its funny, sad, angry or just motivational. He can take u on a journey only with his words AND can combine this with the absolute sickest cadence and flow and rhyme skills. And i think thats what made him the best rapper. And i also think thats what he is missing today a bit. He just focus to much on the rhyme itself and forgets a little bit about what made him so fucking good and relatable to all of us.
I wish these lyric videos wouldn't show the words until they're rapped, it's like a mini spoiler and it ruins the surprise of the rhyme and I don't think it's a real reaction of you know what's comming
@@danielajayi9311 yeah i think the concept and the Idea of Revival was great. It was a great fucking Story He had to Tell and im pretty Sure If Had done it right it could be amongst His Other top Albums.. BUT the way He executed it was Just not good. WAY to Pop and the Beat choice was not good, the production Just wasnt good tbh. I mean its a Album where He has a Song with pink and pink has the biggest Part on it in HIS Album? I am a Eminem Stan, i am listening to him since i was a child but this Album Just wasnt it. (Still better than almost every Album of Other Rappers but still Bad for His Standards) But at this Moment u can only compare him to himself.
He still has Songs where He Shows He can do it but also a Lot of Songs are Just Misses. And thats sad because Back in the day He NEVER missed. For me the breaking Point in His career was Recovery. Before that every Album was a 10 out of 10 for me. But the way he was riding the beats before that and the flow and the everything was just INSANSE. But Then idk, for me at least ,He lost a Bit of His Touch. And i HATE the fast rapping lol :D Was cool for the first few times but now its annoying. i mean already proved that he is the best at doing it fast. idk why he still does it though. But at the end of the day he is in a position where he just does what he wants to do and its good for him. Still though i would give a lot of things just to hear him spazzing out like he used to do in the 2000's just with new ideas and content he has to offer now.
You're wack. Eminem is leagues above what he used to be. I was around & grew up on Em. I think it's you who forgets an artist cannot stay stagnant & he must evolve & push the boundaries of the art.. simple ass surface level storytelling is not a strongsuit of any artist, it's a preference. It's what the sheep like. That's why Eminem started rapping like tupac when he got with dre & stopped the infinite ish. Because the masses just want simplistic surface level ish. Its a simple blueprint used across most all music genres & it IS NOT what makes him good.
… But if one kid out of a hundred million
Who are going through a struggle feels it and relates, that's great…
Eminem - Going through changes. This Is a most listen to
The fact you haven't reacted to "Rock Bottom" or "No Apologies" yet is almost criminal.
rock bottom def. SOLDIER off Em Show is my fav em song. Also, in the same vein, Tupac Can't C Me
Been asking for this to reacted to for a min.glad you guys finally got to it
This was almost like a warning to rest of the game that he's still battle rapper and will kill anyone who wants it, off 8 mile soundtrack and he Just flat out showed out on This Track
This is pure hustle/motivation music
One of this best tracks! The kind you don't cut, it's a crescendo!! He pushing pressure. This track is incredible
Yes! Requested this one thanks guys for doin it
“Tank top screaming Lotto, I don’t fit you!” 😂
Edit: Brock you’re right - cup runneth over is in Psalm 23 & the actress in the movie playing Em’s girl was Brittany Murphy. She & Em dated briefly after meeting on set. She died under suspicious circumstances 8yrs later at age 32.
Good work y’all. Hope you get around to these classics at some point….
Bad guy, My Darling, shady 2.0 Boys, Underground, Buffalo Bill, Alfred’s Theme, Believe, all I think about, On fire & Same song & dance
I'm weak.. y'all was dead ass serious too🤣👌🏻
I feel like you guys have been reading my recommendations. Appreciate it ❤
Bout time some more Eminem
The clock strikes midnight, 1, 2 then half past 3. Now actually thinking about it didn't really make sense if you don't genuinely know. So he's making hourly references, but even without that it is assumed that hrs are referenced, dating back to non digital clocks. 1 hr has 60 minutes so half past would equal 30 min of that hr so 3:30 is half past 3. Easy to visualize looking at an analog clock, not a digital clock with numbers. Love your reactions. Keeping it real and genuine!
haha what the fuck, do american really not understand that half past 3 is 03:30? jeeeeeeeeeeeeesus
@@user-te9vx8bx8y theres like 400mil americans. The vast majority know what half passed 3 is. stfu up with hate.
@@user-te9vx8bx8y apparently younger Americans but I am an older American and I remember analog clocks lol
@@user-te9vx8bx8y Nah, we know. Not sure how they didn't. Lol had to ask my kids to make sure they knew. Almost made me think the younger generation was lost for a moment there.
@@user-te9vx8bx8y we understand it, but to be honest most people don't speak like that! I'm 40 so not part of this newer generation and we didn't speak like that growing up either. We understood it, just wasn't how we referenced time on the reg. If it's 3:30 we say it's 3:30, not half past 3... lol! The only reference similar to this that I remember saying often and still say to this day is "its a quarter to 4" meaning it's 3:45
Damn that was quick! Thanks boys
Thank you!!!!!!!! It's about mother effin time!!! I haven't gotten three seconds in I know you guys are going to love this song I've been trying to get you to listen to this the other reactors haven't done it and if they have it's been on a patreon or some shit so I haven't seen it this is one of his best songs oh my God this is one of his best songs you want to hear somebody spit you want to hear somebody go off this is the Em y'all need to be focusing on!! #king! I'm ready let's get it
This tune is a classic.
the fact that i found out about this channel through that 1 nhl reaction than finding out y’all react to eminem i had to watch all them reactions man
Love watching from NJ! Yous gotta listen to “Business” and “Fast lane”
You know what's hilarious? I'm just watching y'all's faces because I know all the words. I love how surprised you guys get LOL
You got to react to Eminem - I'm back 🔥🔥🔥
Finally! Been requesting this one for a while haha. Dope reaction! Maybe Space Bound or Puke next🤙
YYYYYOOOOOOOOO!!!! Ya'll need to go down the Hopsin road. That boy is fire!! Love the reactions, keep up the grind!
This song straight fire 🔥🔥🔥
If yall ain't done Guilty Conscience then y'all will have a blast reacting to one of Em and Dres first collaboration. Story telling and social commentary and hilariousness all in one. Em and Dre do half of all 3 verses so it's like 6 many verses of them going back and forth using the 360 bullet time Matrix camera trick
I heard Hi My Name Is and immediately dismissed Em as a corny joke. The singer in my band insisted I listen to Guilty Conscience. I was blown away and became a huge fan just off the first record. I thought he was a genius, it's crazy to see how much further he's gone since then.
It's mad because of the games new diss I realized the verse about the girl at the party is meant to be his mam, or at least why he wasn't afraid to talk about grown men taking advantage of younger girls. Always use to think it was just Eminem being crazy and shocking but makes me kinda appreciate it more
Always good to hear you do someone new... Oh never mind this is Eminem for the hundredth time.
Love this just straight spitting no fillers again this one is from Rabbit's perspective also from the 8mile soundtrack Em going in as Rabbit 🔥
Hi guys, thank you for the great reactions. Can we eventually get;
“ lord above”
“what’s the difference”
“not afraid”
“venom”
“beautiful pain “
“survival”
“Lighters “
“Not alike “
“Space bound”
……….
please & thank you! 💜
YALL GOTTA LISTEN TO KIM! That's a whole 'norther level of Em yall haven't seen.
These r the best reaction vids on you tube hardly ever miss a bar
hey bro's, just came across your videos in the last 2 months been watching quite a few of your uploads, just want to say keep it up love your content! keep em comming!!! also do as many eminem songs as possible still alot more for you to view, with some maddd bars!
“Fill the Dutch I’m about to tear sh*t up” was a bar 100%. The Dutch is the cigar/stick used for blunts. So fill it up, so he can tear it apart and refill it with dope (weed/fire lyrics)
Ayee I asked for this, shame I'm late but good shit, this song slaps.
U guys saved me from boredom at work on lunch break 🙏
That “signed out of spit” bar was butchered by the lyric video 🤦♂️ Em said really said “Cyanide, I spit to the grave” hard ass bar, this one of my top 5 Eminem tracks ever
Doesn't help that a lot of Em's homophones don't work on paper.
"Sign that I spit to the grave"
"Cyanide I spit to the grave"
@@justinatest9456 you need "peace" of mind. the lyric video is correct on that one. You must be american
@@lucasgregory6375 I'm quoting the video. Peace of mind would be correct. And no, I'm not American.
Thanks for going after my request guys :)
Yes!!! I've been waiting for this one guys such a fucking classic
Y’all gotta do BONE THUGS N HARMONY next!! Bone thugs are too fire, on that Nate Dawg vibe. Blend of east n west!
Jimmy smith is also the name of Eminem’s character. Didn’t know he was a baseball player. Hahaha been watching you guys for while and I do love the raw actually reaction. Can tell it’s most of y’all’s first time reacting lol. One of my favorites to watch!
Fookin love it! ( no cap)
Great channel.. love to see a reaction to dreams and nightmares. Also playlists by artists would be cool. Keep up the good work y’all
“Hailies song” , “97 Bonnie and Clyde” and “Guilty Conscience” by Eminem , some of his earlier songs I think y’all would like reacting to , some good story telling in those so if havnt heard them before would definitely add them to the list , y’all killing the reactions , always look forward to them
I’m still gonna keep requesting a Nas - “Rewind” reaction because that one deserves to be done. I think it would be fun to see if you guys could figure out the story from the actual beginning to end cuz he spits the story backwards in this track.
As far as D12 and Eminem’s - “My Band” would be a fun because the whole song is practically a conversation amongst each other be they rapping the conversation pretty much
@@samueld5418 it really is. I don’t think people realize how difficult it is to really tell a story backwards like he did and make it flow nicely. The creativity behind it was crazy, even some of the dialogue in the story he’s telling was backwards
Just subbed, these are funny lads!
It's the COOLEST shit ever to see you guys view this for the first time. I remember working on memorizing and "one take" 'n it twenty years ago.
I was waiting for this one for my entire existence
Might be my favorite Em song.
Got me through alot.
I'd listen to it when I trained often.
Just came on my Feed and You guys got some series energy and Eminem been one of my favorites (1995-2010 Eminem).. But try to dip more in D12 songs. He go crazzzyyyyyyyy
Gotta do "no apologies" next. Lets Go!

It’s half of the next hour.. So 3:30! Lol haha still great EM reaction keep it goin!🙏🏽
Nice I requested this twice!!
Great reaction guys, yes this song is the soundtrack to 8mile, Eminem at his peak probably, this song is amazing, even better with headphones 🎧
Lol, this is one of the first raps I memorized. can't beat it
Jimmy smith is Eminem’s name in the 8 mile movie. This song was written for that movie. Need to watch 8 mile on a stream
This was the movie in a song. You nailed near the end, he’s rapping as Jimmy Smith aka rabbit on this track. 🔥🔥🔥
Such a good reaction vid.
good pick fellas u guys got to hear offended next from Eminem revival album he's insane! keep up the good work catching those bars!
I use to bump this on my iPod touch riding my bike as a teenager back in the day whenever I was pissed 🤣
eminem & d12- MY WORDS ARE WEAPONS. great song
Great reaction mate
this ones bumping
I remember giving a friend this album after he said it'd be in his moms wish list for Christmas. Shout out Chris
Damn at the end’ I’d grab it rabbit run’💥💥💣🔥
I just started watching you guys reactions and im glad you guys are getting put on to the genius of ems pen. Want a really deep story from em react to LEAVING HEAVEN
Y'all need to start scheduling these (so we get a notification) and running them live so your viewers can chat real-time, because we've got the facts you're asking for in these videos.
Jimmy Smith is his name in 8 Mile too. This was off the 8 Mile movie soundtrack
he was happy at the end of 8 mile cause he gained the respect of the people that doubted him. and the last scene is supposed to imply that he's gonna go on to bigger and better things very soon. aka getting signed.
As the world turns.. 🔥🔥🔥
Wicked Ways is absolutely 🔥 y'all would love that one.
I remember watching a show where Em was being interviewed and he actually showed like all kinds of actual notebooks, I’m talking prob hundreds. Like trunks full of stuff. I still love real notebooks and writing things down. There’s a good feeling when it comes to avoiding technology sometimes and just being in your own head for a bit.
I was listening to this when it was brand new
Jimmy Smith was his character in 8 Mile. This song was on the 8 Mile soundtrack. That album is hard af. Check it out.
I beg you to react this song and you did it, just thank you to all of you for react this song, one of my favorites from Em. I know you would like it!
Eminem kings never die reaction and Eminem phenomenal!! This is a must. R no Eminem fans requesting this?
You guys are great! 1 2 and half past 3 is 3:30 am. midnight, 1am, 2am, 3:30am. I think he was just being creative with his rhymes. But he is up late working on his craft with writers block as someone else mentioned.
"I'm gonna make you hate me because you ain't me."
Love that he turned it away from simply a consequence of becoming successful, instead making it sound like his goal is making everyone hate/envy him and being successful is simply a consequence of achieving that goal.
One of his best songs.
Love your channel and energy gentlemen. I like 2 propose 2 Eminem - BUSINESS. I know you will love that vibe. Smooth as F. 👊🏻
Keep it up boys! It is GREAT to watch young people communicate without all of the nasty language. Keep that up and yall will go far.🤝💪 no folding gentlmen
The fact that he wrote these rhymes about not being able to write his rhymes is genius. Greatest carry-on verse of all time, easily. All kneel.
Thanks for doing Rabbit Run guys this was from 8 mile! Listen to Bad guy next!
The fact this one doesn’t have a chorus, and the beat is a ticking clock; it talks about writer’s block, impatience and agony, it just set the mood too perfectly for a come-up type of story/track.
