Humans are parasitized by the worst kind of parasite:
Children
This is why I find horror movies very bland and uninteresting in general.
Reality is the ultimate eye-opener.

what about alien?
they based the aliens on this creature
And the thing?
Turkey God did they really? Did they say inspiration came from these bugs?
iOnlySignIn no one cares.
J San Antonio maybe not this species in particular, but H.R. Giger did say he took inspiration from parasitic wasps.
"The larvae won't touch the vital organs". That's nice of them
that is smart of them, you want (as a parasite) to exploit your victim as much as possible. by keeping it alive the can feed more of it, and it protects them afterwards.
@@eliadbu I mean, is not something "smart", if you as the larvae don't do it you die. 🐌
@@MilhSpears what I mean by saying "smart" is keeping the host a live as much as possible raises their chances of survival. They could eat what ever they encounter first killing the host faster but the action of selective and planned eating shows some kind of thinking.
"alright, brothers and sisters, do we feel sorry for the caterpillar?"
"YES"
"DID WE CHOOSE TO BE PARASITIC?"

"DID WE CHOOSE TO KILL A HOST FOR OUR SURVIVAL?"

maher shawkat no they're not you idiot! Those are parasites that are eating the caterpillar inside out. They got there through the parasitic wasp. So YES you would be doing them a favor.
How exactly are you doing them a favor by killing their host? 9 people liking this makes it an even bigger fail.

The caterpillar protecting the wasps makes me think of a mother who adopts a few kids who turns out to be evil, but after being used and abused by them she stills takes care of them because in her mind they're still just kids that needs love and care.
Caterpillars themselves are kids, basically. It'd be roughly the equivalent of pubescent teenager.
They still have an entire metamorphosis to go through to be adults. of course, these ones will never get that far.
lmao sounds like your typical Lifetime movie 😂

This is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. It blows my mind that the caterpillar spins its cocoon on the wasps, then protects it until it starves to death. That the wasps' venom has that much control over its host to reprogram its brain and literally enslave it is as mysterious to me as quantum physics or aliens or ghosts.
In conclusion: WOW!
It's mind-blowing how it's mind was so reprogrammed.
@@TucsonDude it was programmed by God
This is the creator
Toxoplasmosis gondii in cats does exactly the same thing - affecting the brain of mice (their intermediary host), preventing them from fleeing from cat urine and becoming fearless. This way Toxo can find another cat to infect and then reproduce. Toxo can also affect humans, causing aggression and other issues.
@@AmurTube I mean, it blew my mind so to speak. This surely can not have come from random occurences of evolution, the fact that it can take over the mind of the caterpillar after all of this, I mean wow.
Dude, how did the wasps literally freaking exploding out of the caterpillar not kill it?!?!??! How does it live long enough after having its body excavated to spin a cocoon for those freaks, nonetheless guard them for however as long as they did?!?
Its nature... The wasp basically changed the way the caterpillar thinks. Usually Caterpillars dont even take care of their own young so this behavior clearly shows just how nature works
The exoskeletons of the larvae fills up the wounds/holes of the caterpillar when they get out. Also, the caterpillars keep behaving normally while being infested with the larvae, thus eating. The larvae come all out at once!
The very hunger caterpillar: Revenge of the parasitic wasp larvae.

WAIT FOR MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
This isn't really that bad compared to a lot of parasites.
Nope
Wait, I want to know how it's still alive after having a bajillion holes forced onto its body.
I know its been a year but basically it comes down to 2 thing
1. Its skin snaps back into shape like a rubber band after the catapylars exit
2. Insect blood dries and forms a scab much faster than human blood
If it weren't for this the catapiler would bleed out
@@miguelvalle898 healing factor
Miguel Angel Valle or maybe it's like getting rid of blackheads
They have Wolverine's genes in their blood.
The wasp larvae shed their skin inside the caterpillar as they grow. They apparently seal the wounds of the caterpillar as they exit. This prevents the caterpillar from bleeding out.
Why did my science teacher make me watch this
SAME
It's very important to understand nature because of abity and dangerous situations and weather conditions and other conditions are caused by climate change and new insects are coming UK like giant Asian hornets and false widows and black widows that contains deadly venom it will kill you caused by shock waves in your body when you get bitten it is very important to protect your skin and your body

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life..!.!.

why do u think so? are three any parasitoids feasting on human flesh from inside... our is there any animal eating humans? i think our species pretty much good favoured by nature and evolution
If God is real, then he sure has some explaining to do as to how he thought up this process.
Oh this is nothing compared to the full glory of the horrific things mother nature has to offer, not to mention how the universe works.
IF there is a god, and its creation is a reflection of how it thinks, we should all be very, very afraid.
The universe reveals to us, once you start to understand it even in the smallest ways, you realise that our reality is a grotesque mockery of how human logic would have us picture it. What it says about its maker if there is one, is that its utterly alien to us, and not at all the loving father who made us in its image, as some holy books would claim.

I thought the caterpillar died from the hatching of these little chestbusters. I wasn't aware of the part when it protected them from predators like "these are my babies, keep away!" They should have added this feature in the Alien franchise movies.
That would have been too disturbing.
It makes sense why the caterpillar survives because it protects the babies.. So even though the babies fed on the caterpillars blood it also knew that they wanted to keep the animal alive
