Monday: Tuna Melts, Dinner: Fettuccine Alfredo
Tuesday: Pinto Bean burritos, Dinner: Quiche, bread and salad
Wednesday: Fresh Mozzarella Sandwiches, Dinner: Chile and Cornbread
Thursday: Hot Dogs and Potato wedges, Dinner: BBQ Chicken, green beans and couscous
Friday: Cheddar cheese bread and Pears, Dinner: Lamb Korma, naan bread, basmati rice
Saturday: Sandwiches, chips, watermelon and orange juice, Dinner: Chicken legs, Cauliflower, Harvest blend
Sunday: Bean burritos and other snacks

Aw thank you! Yes healthy food is pretty expensive but thankfully preparing it at home really helps! There is a salad place I love called sweet greens but the salads cost almost $20 there!😅 At home it’s much cheaper!🙌🏼🥗

It's just me but, it ok for the kids to have their special things once a week. You guys make sure that your kids eat lots of good stuff including lots of fruits and veges. I know its hard vlogging what you're buying to feed your kids but, even as adults we like a special treat. You guys are doing a great job!

I was just thinking about that. I think it looks like they eat a lot more cookies and stuff because Amber vlogs the shopping trips so that's a lot of what we see. (I find it interesting that people like to watch shopping trips on YT. LOL) Amber, I'm amazed at how well you and Marc do with meals.
Costco pro tip! At 4:45 you can take the empty boxes and use them to carry your groceries. The best boxes are the ones with cut out handles :)
Yes it would make loading and unloading the groceries so much easier!
They may be limited in their recycling capacity, so maybe having extra boxes to deal with in an urban environment may not be the same as elsewhere.

Aw thank you! We sometimes are able to keep the budget smaller. I always try to not buy too much meat because it helps keep the price down a bit.
My favorite video each week! Not sure why it is so fun watching grocery shopping except maybe because I no longer go into stores. I order online and do curbside pick up. I’ve never been to Trader Joe’s either. The kids sure seem to enjoy finding unique items there. Blessings dear shoppers!

I LOVE Melody’s dress. Amber, I have several dresses that my granddaughter just finished wearing….size 4-5…was wondering if Melody would like them? They are very sweet, similar to the adorable dresses Melody wears.

Hello Everyone From Oregon, it's been hot and not hot and summer here so party in the town. Band night's in the city park , block of streets for chalk art, wine tasting so drinking on the streets, first Friday every month city belongs to kids only no adults so if you wonder when you come to a town and see just kids this is why and as our town no one on the streets past 11 pm . As for Portland Oregon not me to much nood est everywhere yep riding bikes to the max train no clothes on train. It's extreme. But it's that time schools out.

Look for a big yellow spot on the watermelon and it should sound hollow and should be heavy. Never got a bad melon using this method

I heard from another creator years ago that there is a shuttle at Costco for those that don't have cars, I'm guessing that's the line you guys see. Depending on how far down town you live it's cheaper than an Uber & was around before Uber was as big as it is now.

I've raised livestock most my life n I can not stand taste or texture of lamb but I'll eat any other meat.
Adding a second comment to say - grass fed butter is a foreign concept where I live, in Europe. Our cows are only free range and grass grazers, so all butter is just called butter. What is the taste difference would you say?
Wow that’s so nice you have free range cows there! In general grassfed butter is richer and more flavorful, I’ve also heard it is healthier!
Wondering if you’re family have tried the National dish of the Philippines. It’s well known around the world and have been featured by many celebrities. It’s very cheap, easy to cook, and I have not heard of anyone not like it. The dish is all over tik tok, you tube shorts, and CZcams. Perhaps Mark can challenge a new recipe of cooking Chicken Adobo. Would be a great new video content. Mark recipe challenge of the week or month. I personally like it with cooked peeled boil egg and potato in it (not traditional, but my version. Good luck!!

When you buy fresh food in bulk, do you find that some of it will wilt or go floppy before you can get to using it? Also, do you get much waste food? I have 6 children and find that a lot of the time, they finish only 3/4 of their food (even when you make their portions smaller!) and without a dog to feed scraps to, we end up either sadly throwing it away or eating it ourselves to avoid waste! 😅
Yes! I am like you! I hate to waste food. I have a general idea of how much the whole family eats and I find myself adjusting how much I buy so everyone can eat well but that nothing (or very little) gets wasted. I do try to make things that will go wilty earlier in the week!

In my country we would be accused of stealing if we opened up any food and ate it even though you fully intended to pay for it. I kind of understand why because you technically haven't pid for them. Sometimes with kids they want to have some stright away and it does no harm. You do do well feeding such a big family with healthy meals and mostly healthy snacks. You should be really proud of that especially in this day and age. 😊

They do buy in bulk. Hence Costco. They live in NYC and don't have a lot of space to store it. Obviously you haven't watch their videos much

Yes! In California it was weight dependent but in New York it is up to age 2. I just learned that.
The recommendation is to keep them rear facing for as long as possible due to internal decapitation. My daughter was rear facing until age 3. She was in a five point harness until age 7, booster with back until 10 and a backless booster until 12. Car accidents are violent and hard on kids bodies and seat belts are made for ADULTS, so key is to keep them as safe as possible. This makes me very happy that she has rear faced him!
@@jnicole6266 You were lucky to have a small daughter. Back in the 90’s it was impossible to find car and booster seats for our 97 plus percentile (height and weight) little guy. Finally quit growing at 6’4” and 195lbs - a gym rat who just graduated from a top law school 😀

Amber Marc take your kids to the American Museum of natural History they would love it. HI sweet Anna,Chloe, 🤗Melody Enoch Mo and all the rest. Yes the car seat for Moses must be facing backwards But behind the the second seat ,or behind the driver seat. Belted in and the chair is belted to the seat. So the seat can't slide forward. And everyone else wears there seat belts. Just my added 2 cents. Marc & Amber we are all worrying about all your safety. Melody likes her cookies. And ice cream so yummy. Mo, loves going shopping. Melody is so sweet 😇 to give Mo the Lollipop. $233.99 for groceries that's really good for one week of food for 12 people. 🥰❤❤

All I can think is you have to be millionaires to afford rent, food, insurance, gifts, etc. At least you eat healthy.
We had some savings from the sale of our house that have helped keep us afloat in the lean months but Marc is searching for a better job because he isn’t able to make enough doing freelance.

Actually once they are over 12 months they can be forward facing; it is not weight dependant
Marie C , I understand New York car seat law , but please know that you buy a car seat appropriate to weights of children , our newborn seat went up to twenty pounds , and than we got next size up etc , in Florida and many other states it’s okay at twenty pounds to turn forward , our two year old was 35 inches / 39 pounds , his legs would had been squash facing and rear , every family raises children differently, doesn’t mean to put them down , as long as the children aren’t being abused , and have there needs food , shelter , shoes , clothes , Safe haven to lay heads down , why would any one speak against another large family as Josh and Alicia Dockertly Dozen , I respect any family that adopted children with special needs and have patients and love , the love they show to the children is unbelievable and kindness , most of those children would had never felt the love they are receiving today , they have those children in everything, most parents with less children don’t do this , and vacations they would had never taken . Bless these lovely family’s 🙏

Please please always keep the baby on your chest NOT on your back.. I’ve lived in NYC all my life. Things can happen in a second. When baby is on your chest you can protect them.
