To think of ever having Biden as President, let alone to reelect him after the tremendous damage he's done to our country in less than four years, is unbelievable.
It’s Trump derangement syndrome. These people literally see him as the most evil being imaginable. Satan incarnate. They have not a single rational thought about him. As much as I loathe Joe Biden as a human being, I could admit that not everything he does is evil. People with TDS can’t do the same for Trump. They literally cannot imagine him as having a single positive trait or having done a single non-evil thing.
If we're speaking of policy popularities, abortion restriction is massively unpopular- gallop polls showed that 35% wanted Roe reversed while a majority did not. A majority (over 50%) support that it should be legal "in most cases" and only 12% say it should be completely illegal.
In March, abortion was the top issue for 1 in 8 voters. I don't see those people voting for the person who overturned Roe, they'd rather let the people behind Biden run things

Yeah. Cognitive deterioration tends to accelerate as it progresses. Stress can also be an aggravating factor, and there's no shortage of that in the office of the President. There might not be anything left of the man he once was by November. There's not much left now. He needs to go for everyone's sake including his own. Here's the problem with the argument against Trump and the fear from the democratic party: If Trump wins that means he was voted in, by the people. The fact that Biden orchestrated the debate format and then fell flat on his face is very telling.
This all stems from the convictions. Their polls dropped so bad that they had to debate. They were hoping Trump wouldn’t agree to their unfair demands, so they could tarnish his name. Trump agreed, and now their campaign is essentially over. 😂

I'm not so sure they planned this as much as so many being in denial. It's not going to be that easy to replace him unless he goes willingly. He's stubborn and has a huge ego, as does his wife. His campaign donations cannot carry on to whoever they replace him with, unless it is Kamala. Unless the source of that is wrong, that's going to create a lot of problems for switching to somebody better, honestly. We'll see how this goes, I'm far from convinced they will replace him easily.
I think that they have a bunch of back up plans, and ideally the hoped Biden would do much better. Now they are trying to implement a backup plan.
