    Thank you for the upload, I imagine the glory one pro is very similar, being that agm used the same screens on most of their phones

      I just used this to disassemble my agm glory pro g1 and this is practically the same inside. That also makes it easy to find parts. I had a swelling battery that was pressing on the back of the screen causing a white spot on the screen, bulge on the back, and the phone to die randomly.

    What adhesive do you use to reinstall the touchscreen? My speaker dislodged/ got damaged from a nasty drop so I've tore down my old g2 pro to use the speaker from that but don't know what adhesive/glue to use.

    Please tell me the G1 Pro is similar enough procedure or that you have a tear down of the Glory G1 Pro. I have the G1 Pro and the battery is bad puffed. its amazing how much its BENDING the back of the phone !! of course it only has a 1 year warranty and they do NOT offer service to rep the battery.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  Před rokem

      It should be fairly similar, but can't say for sure. But be careful taking the screen off, always a risk of cracking or breaking it when removing.

    Thank you! Your opinion for this phone? is it worth it the big money they want? Did you felt by worked on it that is really as rugged they claim?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  Před rokem +1

      It's definitely rugged and strong, also the thermal monocular camera range and quality was good. It was clearly able to spot and display people, objects and animals accurately in addition to the heat/temp option. On top of that, the night vision camera was very clear and useful. The only drawback I would say was the process in taking apart the phone since the screen is adhered to the frame/housing with strong adhesive/glue and the internal layout is more difficult and time consuming to take apart compared to most smartphones. But I wouldn't worry about having to make repairs on this phone for most people since it's a sturdy and rugged device which won't break or get damaged easily.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  Před 11 měsíci

      Won't be an easy one, also not easy to find replacement parts for this phone. You would probably need to contact AGM and see if you can have them replace it for you.

      I have the glory one pro, a couple the last two years one warranty replaced, battery life usually lasts all day, and this phone it 10 months old and still get a full day out of it rarely do I charge it for 10 minutes in a afternoon as it has gotten older, other than running a hotspot it lasts quite well

      Not even a year since I got the AGM G2 guardian (july 2023), my battery is starting to die. It takes up to 7 hours for it to go from a 50% to a 100% and it drains quicker than before. Looking up to replace it soon

    Where is the testpoint located on the motherboard?

    • @incognytothegreat
      @incognytothegreat Před 3 měsíci

      I also need to know which points are the test points ... I see 4 groups of two the one below the screen connector is going to be my guess... the one to the left of the screen connector is the only one that has voltage while i plug the phone in... all other test points have no voltage ... unsure if that helps you determine which test points to short to get into edl mode.
