Here are the answers to the top questions on my video of this fan:
Is it easy to clean? YES! The fan sits 7 inches from the ceiling so you can get on a ladder and wipe each little clear blade easily. It’s very easy to dust and keep clean.
Is it loud? The fan is more quiet than the old fan I had up. It creates a very nice white noise sound but it’s not too loud. Our air purifier can be louder than this fan.
Does it circulate air well? This fan pushes the air straight down. It’s small but mighty. It creates more air than the old fan, but it doesn’t push it out. It just pushes it down but then the room feels so much cooler than with the old fan because it’s working that much better and faster. Does that make sense? It’s hard to explain this one.
Why would you need a fan like that? Think about your child’s bedroom. Do they have a bunk bed? I have this fear of my kids hitting their heads on the blades of the ceiling fans. With this one, it won’t happen. We also have low ceilings so this low profile fan makes the room feel bigger and doesn’t make it feel so closed in by taking up too much space on the ceiling.
Do the lights dim? YES! There is a dimmer option and the color of the light can go from bright white to neutral to warm white. You can even control the amount of yellow in the light with the remote control.
Can it be controlled by Alexa or Google? No, but there is an app. If you set up with the app, turn off the wall switch and then turn it back on and attempt the pair. It will pair quickly! I am a big fan of this fan. Pun intended. It’s FANtastic! Ha!

First, maybe your old fan just needed a wipe down, second, lets see if your new fan is working a year later

That old fan WAS huge and ugly and hung too low. I thought more industrial 3 blade fans were the way to go, but this is a new lighter option that makes sense, too. It's soo much better. Say goodbye to the Casa Blanca madness.
How did u remove and put up those fans all by yourself??? I would think you would need an electrician to do that! How did you hold your original HEAVY fan , all by yourself, when you took it down?,??!
@@kimberlyschwartz5299 I did it before the internet, that's how easy it was, but now it would be easier to explain it to you just by telling you to type this into your CZcams search bar: how to change a ceiling fan. You have absolutely no need to ask random people online how do I do something you look it up for yourself watch the videos on how to, and decide if you want to do it or not.
Put one in a yr ago. Light stop working three days after that the fan stopped. It was very nice when it worked. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This one of those 19" fans? Had one for a few days, and while the app and Google Assitant controls were easy, and the light was bright and great, for my size room (about 11 x 11') it would NOT cool the room and just shot straight down in the center mount, where bed is one side, and desk another. Wouldn't mind this style again, just a lot wider. Until then, returned it.
Totally agree with the shooting straight down, but, the reason ours cools our room is because the air conditioning vent is next to it, so it helps circulate that air and keeps the air in the room fresh.
Does it push out more or about the same air as the other one ?
You work really fast
Those move like a fraction of the air volume of a regular ceiling fan, so if you get hot easily, these aren’t ideal except in small rooms. That said, this is better than replacing the old fan with just a chandelier
larger fans can push more air at slower RPM so less noise.
but if you like it that's all that really matters.
Was this worth the money? Did it keep the room cool in summer?
For a small room like ours, it worked great. I wouldn't suggest for a room bigger than that, though.
The old one was way too big abd bulky for such a low ceiling. Definitely an improvement
So let me go from my fan that properly moves air around the room and has easy to change lights to things tiny fan that moves zero air and has an integrated light that you can’t replace.
You want ample space between the ceiling and the fan, thats where the air is generated. This would work for say a bathroom or a 365 day/year temp controlled room but if youre in florida or have hot summers or your house doesnt get great airflow from the windows, you will be disappointed in the airflow this generates. Looks cool tho

My customer just sent a similar fan back as the unit didn't have a single sticker in the canopy...

There’s fans like these all over Amazon. They also sell fandeliers with retractable blades that move as much air as the regular American-style ceiling fans

I don’t have this specific one, but a petal one. Same set up, remote control and app. So many people are having issues with these fans. I just got two from Wayfair. I love them, but one came with a remote control with less options. I also have not been able to pair it to the app. I’m in the process of installing the other one, we shall see! I do love them for a small bedroom.

The other fan hardly put out any air. It was clunky and didn't go with the decor. This one basically blends into the ceiling.
