@@InfiniteBeatzAz they really are amazing trucks, and GM built these really well up until about 2007. My neighbor just bought a new Silverado High Country (made in Mexico) and I joke with him that his truck will be in a junkyard before mine is.
I bought the identical truck this year. But mine is a charcoal 2004 2500(nonHD) crew cab 2WD. Its been an awesome truck for the 8 months i've had it. Completely rust free and only 146k miles currently. Looking forward to having it for years to come. Sold my 2022 F150 because I was tired of payments and it was worth more than i owed on it. Went out and bought the 2004 with cash.

@@dillonjuamerhd5291 I own my 99 Chevy for about 9 years. Now at today’s gas prices I average about $60. a week in the 99 Chevy, but I have 2 other trucks a 2004 Chevy 3500 8.1 gas 265,000 miles; and a 2001 Chevy 2500HD 6.6 Duramax diesel lb7 with 98,000 miles.
@@jakeandcameron7022 I have a 2003 2500hd 6.0L gas, 4L80E, 4:11 gears, Ext Cab SLT. It is a great truck and in excellent condition. 11mpg city 14 mpg highway. Nobody gets 16mpg with this truck unless it has 3:23 gears, or is a diesel, or a half ton 1500 with 5.3L. Pls check your math.
Yeah that 16mpg figure is just what Cameron claimed it get’s ( it’s Cameron’s family’s truck btw) so I’m not entirely sure if that is true or not but I do know that it is a pretty bad gas guzzler around town.
I have the same truck just a 2005. I love it. I will take these over the new Silverados any day.
Just picked up an 06 I love it!

246k miles and still in mint condition it’s amazing really
100%
@@jpete3027666Even the 2500hds after 2007 will last I know a guy with one that has 250k on it all original… the 6.0l 6l90 combo is great!
The first two minutes are classic! You can't write this kind of dialogue. Well done, gentleman.
That’s true we almost never use a script, we just say stuff on the fly. Thanks!

All good. Just got hooked up with my first 2500. I must say the "hype" is not hype. My new ride, a 2002 is living up to it. A bargain at 4 grande🎉
Really good video makes me want one more!

Yeah we pulled a large camper trailer for many years with ours and never had any problems ours has about 110,000 miles
How much you think you spend on gas a week?

Mine gets 10mpg. Empty or towing 🤣 but I’ve got an aftermarket exhaust and a slight lift. Love mine. Cheers.
4.10 gears?
Takes gel batteries ?
Awesome truck! They get worse gas mileage, but they'll outlast the modern trucks with all the gimmicky crap.
16mpg???. I have same truck. What is your diff ratio? mine is 4:11 I get 11mpg city 14 mpg highway
Yeah I’ve actually never checked what the rear gearing is but yeah it gets 16 mpg pretty consistently

Hi, this is Cameron, I got the 16 mpg from the display in the dash, that mpg is also with very moderate driving with no load.
How much does an 03 worth 155,000 miles run
I would say depending on condition any where from 8k for a beater to 15k for a really nice condition one
What state are you guys located
Washington
i can find these all over texas with less than 200k for less than 7k I've been thinking of buying one
Do it. I've had mine for three years and I've only put in a starter in a battery. Driven it very hard for 60,000 miles. Bought at 158k
The 3500s are iffy? What does that mean?
Depends on the diesel or gas that’s why. Gas 3500 don’t last that long but because the guys pull heavy loads and abuse them.
Are parts compatible from a 03 to a 04
Probably
Most likely
