ambujam’s chettinad mess, tamil nadu style food, non vegetarian dishes, kothu parotta, egg semiya, egg nest, biryani, prawn varuval. vegetarian meal, neighbourhood eatery, horamavu, east bengaluru, kripal amanna, kripal amanna vlogs, food lovers tv, truth in food, gourmet on the road, support local business
Times are tough, especially for small businesses that do not have much to fall back on by way of resources and assistance. Everyday, I receive numerous pleas for us to support many such neighbourhood eateries that are struggling to get by. Whilst we empathise with their situation and would like to assist as and when possible, it is imperative though that the food has to have a story to tell. We try to research the food at these small establishments, but sometimes information is hard to come by or is confusing. In which case, we literally have to drive the distance to find out for ourselves. Like we did in this vlog where we made a one-hour trek to East Bengaluru to visit Ambujam Chettinad Mess, unannounced! At this family-run eatery that dishes out a smattering of Tamil style non-vegetarian fare, and a vegetarian meal too, I enjoyed the egg semiya, a tasty nargisi kofta inspired mutton kheema ‘egg nest’ preparation, a moist chicken biryani and a peppery prawn varuval. Hope you enjoy this watch, do support neighbourhood eateries like these.
We hope to cover more such eateries on this second channel. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe. #kripalamanna
See you on the next one. Take care and stay safe.

But you missed one important point, they even served lots of food for free in starting periods of Corona & lockdowns, for many days, but the crisis extended and pushed every one to hardtimes.. Yes this mess makes great food & biriyanis. Reasonably priced. I reside behind this mess and we relish the smell daily 😆😆. MY FAMILY is great Fan of you & your videos. Hi Kripal Sir, I wud love to appreciate your efforts on reaching food outlets which are famous and recommended by many.
Its also really nice and great to see u visiting the food joints who have been struggling due to various unacceptable reasons. At least ur blog is giving a huge platform to those joints in rising up.
I am myself into the animation industry and also a biig food lover. I do have Seend and followed many food bloggers but no one has ever explained any of dishes as u do. Mostly they taste but u do a storytelling on a dish served. Which is really wonderful.
    Best of wishes Sir.

Only Kripal can taste a chilly and still make it delightful experience. Respect 🙏 ofc for supporting food businesses like this. Also, why do you sound like you are speaking at 1.5x speed. Usually speak as if reciting a poem out of a love letter.
