What a beautiful scene , seeing a father and his sons with so much love and affection. We need more of those Dads. My respect Mr. Fogerty. May God bless you and your family.
Im bloody thankful my father introduced me to old blues and rock etc, once I saw John Fogerty playing with his kids and angus young jumping round the stage i wanted to play so badly, its been 10 years this month since my dad got me into guitar/harmonica/singing!
I saw John Fogerty a week ago in Tennessee. His sons were in a group called Hearty Har which opened for him. They then stayed on stage to back their dad.
So nice to see John's sons following their father's footsteps in the music industry! They even have John's classic 60s CCR hair Lol 😂.John is such an awesome legend,Keep Rockin' John! 👏
John Fogerty kept up the pace, but I think it cost him depth in his vocal expression, staying more to the surface. I almost checked the playback speed. He does kick ass though! lol
Drummers never get the credit they deserve, so hats off to Kenny Aronoff for some rock solid backing for a classic track. Thing is about John Fogarty, what you see is what you get. He really is a family man.
That was a thrill to see and know what a good man john is...You can see this in his sons...I was so happy that this made him happy at this time in his life...Bless them all...
South Australia Here: I sat on my father's knee by the Gum Tree. In 1972 we had good conversation, I was two years old and we listened to Creedence thee. LOL! I'm glad the Fogerty family plays together.
John is a great father and you can bet his sons turn out great as well...He kissed both on stage and I thought that was super special...My father would never do that for me...sadly...He has the greatest drummer there...love them all...
I was thinking the same thing and imagining how cool was that to be playing with Dad on the big stage in England. The boys look to be all of 15 & 17 and Royal Albert was big but I also couldn't help but wonder how it all turned out for them all these years later. Good I hope. Fogerty had a reputation of being a hard ass and a bit of a control freak about his music. He also was a bit of a genius and it's hard to argue with success but I believe he missed his true calling which was pure psychedelia as evidenced by the brilliance he puts down at the end (in the long versions) of Suzie Q. There are no words. Just a rare pulsating rhythm that carries you away with a sound that isn't acquired. It's born in you and it's down on the Bayou too, as a variation of a theme, but it that takes you to the same place. For a few minutes he wasn't a hillbilly trying to make a buck and betwixt & between the rock-a-billy are glimpses of a future that never happened. To be sure he created a unique sound that found success but Creedence never evolved and that's too bad. The Beatles - the Yardbirds.. all the great ones evolved and looking back all these years later it makes me wonder about Fogerty. He strikes me as the victim who willingly got trapped by a success that limited his potential and It was good but I wonder how it could have all turned out
The most beautiful thing to do what you like the most and with your children, what a father I love your music, thanks for existing, greetings from a Mexican
I just had to echo everyone's comments here. It's really awesome watching them play this song. He has a great family of musicians. His daughter is now playing rythem with them as well. There are a lot of videos of them out singing his old songs! He has got to be in heaven now. He went through so much junk with his old record company and the old CCR band. It's really nice to see him having fun for a change!! Great job John!!!!!
He is, in CCR the drums were always just as front and center as John and his guitar and vocals, it must be surreal for John to have his sons playing with him.
I cant think of anything more wonderful than a moment like that with your sons. you have blessed me for decades of your wonderful music songs that bring back incredible memories yu are truly one of me heros
Os filhos do John estão com os cabelos iguais aos que ele tinha quando iniciou o CCR. Dizem que o melhor presente que um pai pode dar aos filhos é fazer com que os filhos tenham orgulho do pai. Parabéns pai John!
Oh, how sweet it is when a father nurtures his children's talents. Great example of kids lives when there is a father involved in their upbringing, opposed to joining a gang, going through the system, prison and nothing follows. Right on Mr. Fogerty! My first album ever purchased was Cosmo's Factory as nine year old...spending my hard earned money from life on a ranch/farm. 🤘🤘🤘
I saw him perform this with CCR in 1969 in Philly. It was one of the best live performances of a song that I've ever seen anybody do; and I've seen a lot over the years. Nice to see that he's still got it. I like seeing his kids with him too.
@@RattlesnakeBob I saw them twice with the original four members and they were great, however, I saw John about four years ago in Vegas and I have to say that with the band he had including Kenny Aronoff on drums, I think he was better than with CCR.
His kids are the luckiest kids in the world. I was lucky enough to see John Fogerty with the Fairfield 4 , Willie Nelson , John Mellencamp , Dr. John , just to name a few. A pure pleasure every time. And let’s not forget the Greatest Rock and Roll drummer in the world, Mr. Kenny Arannoff. Was lucky enough to get a couple of splintered drum sticks from the stage after the Show at the Orpheum Theatre on Tremont Street in Boston.
i've been singing CCR, and John since the 60's and can still copy him almost exactly. I'm 60 now and I hated when John got cut, but a man has to do what a man has to do.
this is so good to see--son of the guns--theyve been listening to dad for years--so why not--they look like john when he grew his hair in 1968 -- ccr look and the miller shirts
I think his young lad got a bit nervous and started the riff a liitle fast but great to see them rocking away - shit happens its live. Which is well good!!! Cheers to all Foggies out there. From the Scottish highlands.
John always looks like he his enjoying himself and always has a big broad smile for everyone as for the voice WELL think their songs speak for themselves clad i was of that era to appreciate what fabulous artists they and many others were not like the trash that is being churned out today put a candle in the window who else could make it sound brilliant as is Lodi the words just blend in with each other try to read them and see how you manage to make any sense of them all then sing them to yourself and you have got a CLASSIC 📀📀
Orgulho desse pai e dos filhos tocarem juntos grandes sucessos não vao esquecer nunca desses feitos.Jonh soube ensinar bem pois os filhos sao bons também
Every fathers dream, not only 1 of his sons but 2 and maybe 3, is that Josh Fogerty playing rythm and back-up vocals ? doesnt matter if your a rock star or turning wrenches or whatever your profession may be, Thanks Fogerty's We Love Your Music !
Great to see Father and Sons together with the best drummer in the business they are great .
What a beautiful scene , seeing a father and his sons with so much love and affection. We need more of those Dads. My respect Mr. Fogerty. May God bless you and your family.
Totally agree with you 👍
Im bloody thankful my father introduced me to old blues and rock etc, once I saw John Fogerty playing with his kids and angus young jumping round the stage i wanted to play so badly, its been 10 years this month since my dad got me into guitar/harmonica/singing!
Killer drums tempo !!! Mr. Kenny Aronoff !!!
The Guitarline sounds amazing here. So clear and atmospheric
And the Drummer has a fantastic groove.
Yes Kenny is one of the best drummers in the business ........
I agree. Another drummer that I envy is the drummer from Blondie
@@goldog2816 hey I thought " is that Kenny Arronoff ???" I'm guessing it was :) what a banger he is
Drummer is a HERO!!!
I saw John Fogerty a week ago in Tennessee. His sons were in a group called Hearty Har which opened for him. They then stayed on stage to back their dad.
Love to see John with his boys!!
What a great concert and a great band!
He taught them his style! Both boys finger the chords just like dad! Awesome...Rock and roll will never die!
So nice to see John's sons following their father's footsteps in the music industry! They even have John's classic 60s CCR hair Lol 😂.John is such an awesome legend,Keep Rockin' John! 👏
The drummer deserves a raise
so cool having his sons "take over the business"
damn, did they trade marketed the haircut?
Let the circle be unbroken,
It gives me a thrill every time I see these three together!
There is no substitute for John Fogerty.
Gracias
I love this, and the fact his son is playing with him.. Amazing...
Sons, not son
Fantastic guitars . So lively and has a driving beat.
When you see musicians from the 60s playing their songs now, they´re so sloooow, but John Fogerty still kicks ass.
Yeah, it´s way too fast.
that's cause of kenny aronoff, the drummer...if you see ramble tamble from the same show u'll undersrand it
Yeah!! I love it
I'm 16 (almost 17), but I am amazed he is playing so energetically!!!
John Fogerty kept up the pace, but I think it cost him depth in his vocal expression, staying more to the surface. I almost checked the playback speed. He does kick ass though! lol

Love this Dad and two sons it doesn’t get any better. Thanks for this great video 💙🎸
Love it, loved his two boys on there, very sweet. Also liked the fast speed, most old timers slow down, he speeded up!
It's impossible to slow down anything when you have Kenny on the drums !
Seen him in concert What a voice!
Pretty cool seeing his sons playing alongside him.
Sometimes you hear kids saying it’s my dad’s music, and then there are kids who enjoy it
Oh what a great live performance.

Just saw him in Dublin, was amazing. His son was the supporting act with his own band

If this isn't rock'n'roll, what is? 💪🏻🥰
Kenny Aronoff is freakin' awesome on drums
+KeefsCattys Yah!! He's one of the best. So is John Cowsill who is with the Beach Boys. But the best by far still is Ronnie Tutt, Elvis's drummer.
Crowblack he looks like Donkey Kong

Like a muppets animal.
I love thar the band can barely keep up!
A dad to be so proud of!!!! Imagine how they feel when they experience the audience love for their dad.It would be awesome.
