Thanks for another amazing lesson!
Your parable was perfect. Although we look at others and think their problems are easier, they truly aren’t well said. Bad things happen to good people and although the body may suffer the mortal pain the spirit is just fine. I fully believe armies of angels comfort those during atrocities and guide them thru that time. Thank you for sharing “insights” into the scriptures.
thank you from
the bottom of my heart. these lessons are life saving.
Thank you both for another inspired lesson.
I love the parable of the cross Bro Griffin. I had a bit of a laugh at the end. I too thought the story was going to come full circle eventually. What a marvelous way to teach a principle. Thank you for another marvelous lesson Brethren. I love watching your presentations ❤
This was such an outstanding presentation. Thank you both so much for sharing your knowledge and insights. It is greatly appreciated and has blessed our family so much. ❤
Thank you for a great lesson putting everything into perspective. The Gospel is TRUE!!!! Love you.
How grateful I am for the both of you. You are doing a great work. You are truly the example of the order of the Son of God. Thank you. I appreciate your true faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ. That really strengthens me and helps me to become a better person each day, to seek to do good each day. Stay blessed 🙌🏿 ❤ 🙏🏿
Thanks brethren for the wonderful lesson.

I learn so much listening to to talor
Taylor and Tyler ❤❤ thank you so much your a blessing
What is interesting is that it is possible that Amulek watched his whole family get burned. It mentions his family earlier in the story, and then burned the righteous women and children.
I had the exact same thought come to me as I read this chapter .
What I find even more fascinating than Zeezrom’s name in relation to the bribe he offered, is the significance of the silver/metal refinement process.
All through scriptures we see this. Silver is impure, it is then heated and pounded until it shines, is removed from the fire, and can be molded and shaped.
Zeezrom underwent a similar process: he was wicked or “impure,” he was humbled through hearing the gospel and being persecuted by evil people in Ammonihah, he becomes sick with a “burning fever” and was “exceedingly sore,” he is then miraculously snatched from the “fire” of sickness and condemnation by messengers of God, and he is molded into a missionary and servant of the Lord.
Truly inspired Zeezrom is “one of silver.”
These are comments as I am watching. One thing a distinction must be made is that power is nothing without authority. I think it will be touched when Alma is withheld from intervening during the atrocities that are committed. But authority is the thing that matters. Authority to bless others WITH God's power of priesthood. To bless others lives.
Other churches say they have power to act in God's name but none have the authority to. ALL blessings done in the church is done through the authority of the priesthood, not power.
It is interesting to note that the 1830 version of the book of Mormon chapters has 12 and 13 together for the most part. With that in mind it flows and makes a lot more sense together in context of what it is talking about. The FollowHim podcast had it pointed out the parallels to Joseph Smith in liberty jail. D&c sections 121 and on. Couple little points.
@@williamnettleton3413 see, and when o read 121, I thought jr, had slipped in his faith a little. I read that he was sorta busy chucking and mad anger towards his captors, which is opposite of the attitudes displayed by all the other scriptural greats, Job, Alma, Daniel, Neil, Joseph, etc.
I’ll need to re-read it I guess.
I read 121, and kinda “oh. That’s why he died, no different than if Daniel had cussed out the Lions”.
