1.They are too scared ofc
2.They are too shock with whatever they feel while riding it.
That is extreme example tho.

As a Walmart employee, I can tell you that washing detergent has no form of seal on the container (which really sucks cause they leak a lot)
Working for Walmart was one of the worst things I did, and I've done some stupid sht.
Watching a mascot dance while holding an emotional support alligator is the most American thing I've seen in a while

What’s the difference, i mean, a wolf is just a bigger, different breed of dog isn’t it? I mean, they can make viable offspring in the right conditions…One of them is domestic and the other is NOT.

The container is bigger than the advertised amount for a reason. My store sells 4L of liquid in a 5L jug.
You aren't being ripped off, the liquid needs some freedom to move during shipments, and changes in temperature can cause the liquid volume to change as well.

Except the container is sealed... so even if frozen, the container will still swell and/or burst. Further: Water only expands 9% when frozen. That means that 4L of fluid will only, at maximum (and if it were only pure water) expand to 4.36L. The only reason they would have to use a 5L jug instead of a 4.5L jug is because they already had access to a huge amount of 5L jugs... because 2 years ago, they . This is a rip off, because the price of manufacturer and materials for the detergent hasn't increased... the companies making stuff just know that there are absolutely 0 consumer protections in the US right now because we have a barely-functioning government and damn near non-existent legal system. That's the truth of it.
It's the same thing as the "why is the chips packet half air??", for some people seem to don't seem to grasp the idea that they are paying for a set weight, as stated on the packaging

When I pick out my laundry detergent, I always do a ‘lift test’ to see which one feels more full. Always thought it was in my head until this very moment. Now my life is validated.
Doesn't matter if it is full or not. The amount of liquid in the container is accurate to what is stated on the container, and that is what they charge for that amount.....filling it up the rest of the way is theft.

Isn't the weight or volume displayed on the bottle in the US?
I don't know, In my country, they are obliged to put that on there, and the store also has to display price per volume or weight on the shelf, or in the case with detergents, they must display price per unit of use (price per wash) so you always know wich one is more expensive.
This system almost completely eliminates the oversized packaging BS.

I've often wondered why they don't put tamper proof lids on dishsoap, laundry soap, etc. Some weirdo could mess with your soap and add who knows what to it.
probably because it happens so rarely that it is not needed. I'm sure if it started happening regularly then they would change it.
They already put a warning label to not use if the seal is broken before purchase, so if you use tampered soap, they're not liable.
Guys I think someone spiked my laundry detergent because I almost died after drinking it 😔
You could tamper with a lot of things if you really wanted to. Sprinkle anthrax in all those loose fruits and vegetables. Laundry detergent is low risk comparatively. Not worth the extra packaging.

That's Wally the alligator! He's a sweet little boy and I think his owner has had him for a good while :D The video of him going to the pet store to pick out a new toy was the cutest
Except alligators are not supposed to be pets. Human interaction can be extremely stressful for them, however owners don't see that, because an alligator oviously can't express their feelings the same way as a human. The one in the video is a well known gator, and probably has some mental disabilities, it's bite reflex doesn't work as it supposed to, however it's still extremely careless to give it to other people to hold, especially children.
It's a good thing they don't have Public Access rights and you can deny access though.

You should have a look at the clip of the Oban fireworks display from a few years ago. An hour's worth of fireworks went up in 45 seconds.

Last week at Target we noticed that the laundry detergent claimed the same size on the label, but the jugs were significantly different sizes and the weight was off. So I took it to the produce section, and the smaller jug was 25 oz less than the larger jug for the same price with the exact same volume on the label.
Kept replaying the kid with the spongebob costume. The "I can't reach it" is so cute!!
