    Ingredients
    For the Marination
    500 gms Boneless chicken (Can also use chicken with bones )
    1 tbsp Salt
    1 tbsp White Pepper Powder
    For The Gravy
    3 tbsp oil
    5 Green Cardamom
    2 Black Cardamom
    4 Cloves
    2 inch Cinnamon-
    1 tbsp Black Peppercorns
    1 Mace (Javitri) flower
    ½ cup Cashew Almond Paste (Cashews 15, Almonds10)
    3 Medium Size Onions
    1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
    2 tbsp Curd/Yogurt-
    5 Green Chillies
    1 tbsp Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek leaves)
    Method
    Soak the almonds in warm water for 30-60 minutes Remove and peel the skin. Keep it aside
    Soak the Cashewnuts in hot water for 15 minutes
    To make the almond-cashew paste, add both in a grinder along with 4 tbsp water and blend it into a smooth paste.
    Marinate the chicken pieces with salt and white pepper powder. Mix and set aside for 30 mins.
    Heat oil in a pan and add the whole spices.
    Once it splutters, give a stir and add the Chopped onions.
    Give a mix and fry on medium heat for 3 mins making sure the color doesn’t change.
    Now add the ginger garlic paste and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
    Add the marinated chicken and mix well
    Continue to cook on medium heat for 5 mins till the chicken pieces are light brown.
    Lower the heat and add the curd and slit green chillies & cook on low heat for 2-3 mins till oil separates.
    Then cover and cook on low heat for 10 mins till the chicken is nearly tender.
    Remove the lid, add the cashew-almond paste and give a mix.
    Add 100 ml water and salt, give a mix and cover & cook on low heat for 5 to10 mins
    Add the Kasuri Methi and Cook for 2 mins
    Serve it hot with rotis or naan
