Was there a couple of weeks ago, cherry blossoms with range of 6 to 9deg temp! First time there I love it, and wish I went there earlier to experience the snowy Tokyo!
You should definitely consider re-visiting Tokyo in the winter season!

absolutely no, i can tell you from experience that while i prefer the US, japan is sadly light years in front. i've seen a lot of things that exist in japan that are pretty much unknown to americans and europeans.

People have to be educated. Otherwise they will fall sooner or later.

Very nice! One thing I've noticed from these walking videos is that New York City always seems to have scaffolding and construction cranes going nonstop 24/7/365. Maybe other cities don't have a weird obsession with building and rebuilding everything? Or their construction crews are less corrupt, so jobs don't take forever?
You are right, but it has to do with safety, not so much with actual reconstruction. If sth is thrown/falls from great hight it can actually kill people. Some NYC guy who does these walking tour vids told so.
