Good thing that the Doctor didn't laugh at Leela because her voice was so squeaky like a mouse from that helium she used to change Taren Capel's voice so that those robots he programmed to kill humans won't obey him because his voice changed.

The Tom Baker Dr Who is one of my favorites too. He had such a dry sence of humor. The enemies were very glamorous like the rock music of that era.❤❤❤❤

One of the best Fourth Doctor stories, from an era when the show was at it's peak. The Robots are eautifully designed, espescially when you consider the budget they had.
"Are you going to tell me your plan for running the universe? ... Dask, you look ridiculous in that outfit." I love this story so much.
It's almost a parody line of other DW episodes.

D84 sure did an unselfish act when he used a weapon that not only destroys robots but also himself to save the Doctor's life. Too bad Taren Capel didn't wonder why his voice changed when the last robot obeying him turned against him after his voice was different and couldn't identify him.
You realize that when you hear your own voice on a record, you don't recognize it? You hear your own voice differently than others do,
So my band is doing a cover of War of the Worlds and I have these lyrics 2:23. Amazing that this came up on my CZcams suggestions today as I just met the guitarist and mentioned that lyric....I guess my phone heard me...spooky stuff.

I would've been happy if Tom Baker had played the doctor until he couldn't anymore and then the series ended. As no one else has managed to fill his shoes that brilliantly in the role.

How strange, they’ve uploaded a clip for Pt. 4 early.
I mean they normally upload 2 videos per episode. So for a 4 Part story there should be 8 videos, but there’s only been 5. Two from Pt. 1, one from Pt. 2, one from Pt. 3 & now one from Pt. 4.
They also haven’t uploaded an 8th video for Four to Doomsday. Pt. 4 only has 1 video

The Doctor could've told Taren Capel to think about the women and children when he had decided to reprogram the robots to kill humans because he was raised by them and didn't believe that robots can't exist without humans.

I always thought... How awful it must be to get a part on Dr Who, turn up to wardrobe/make up, expecting to be some sort of scary monster but instead, just getting a bit of face paint and a costume made from an old bedspread.
