YESSS AHH I am so glad you loved The Starless Sea!!! I know I have seen many mixed reviews on it but it just worked for me! Its one I would love to reread and annotate! Also I will definitely be sure to film an in-depth tour of my antique book collection! There's so many unique ones!!
@@mikalareads The Starless Sea is my comfort book that I re read and annotate every time I need to comfort read. Although, have annotated so many times I might need another copy for the next one.
I have been itching to reread The Starless Sea!!!! I am going to make myself a challenge at some point to reread it!!
As well as I think that is going to be me with The Haunting of Hill House as I have read and annotated my copy 3x now and I may need a new copy soon hahah!!! 😅👏

I have a LOT of old books. I'd love a more in-depth look at yours if you ever feel so inclined. I agree, at some point they just become decor because if you actually tried to read them, the pages would crumble. I have a bit of an addiction to old books and I can't help but buy them when I find them at garage sales, etc. I just love them. It's like holding a part of history, or something. Rocking the eye shadow! :)
I definitely now am going to dedicate a video to featuring all of my antique books!!! Each one is just so unique and special and just all have their own special elements I think it would be so cool to share them up close!
YESSSSSSSS Ohhhh I LOVE what you said SO much about it is like holding a part of history! I have an obession with thrifting, antiqueing,and going to estate sales because I just LOVE how the things you can find all have a story to them and have been passed down!
@@mikalareads I have the same obsessions. My other problem is that right now I'm also trying to declutter my home. Decluttering contradicts my love for thrifting, etc. Ugh.

I want to find a way to film with the panned out view because thats one thing about where I film that I would like to change is you cannot get a full view of all the shelves!!! I just adore that Hill House poster!! 😻💯 YES okay I will definitely plan to do a video on all those older published books! SOme of them are just so cool I have to show them up close!

Very impressive tour. I especially liked the "Welcome Foolish Mortals" sign. I think I saw the Vicious hardcover being sold on Thriftbooks for around $22. I saw The Final Girl Support Group on your shelf. What are your thoughts on it? Mine were a bit mixed. I should do a review on it at some point. Thanks again. Stay safe and happy reading.

It is one of my favorite decor pieces, I need to find a way to film where it is more visible 🙌 You know what, I know most people disliked The Final Girl Support Group - but it is actually my favorite Grady Hendrix book!!!! Although I can really admit that it is not perfect and I do think the ending is quite chaotic! But there are just some specific quotes in there that were PURE GOLD!

I also don't organize my shelves in any specific way! Well. One shelf- all hardcovers. Otherwise, everything else is just kinda mismatched
I am glad to hear I am not the only one who does not have a specific organization of their shelves! I mostly just go by what I like the look of best! Kind of like my shelves are a large usable art feature! (I even have some authors books mixed on different shelves and not put together lol)
also if i could recommend a movie i would recommend love lies bleeding vyou should check that out same director as saint Maud
Ohhh love lies bleeding is another one I had not heard of but seeing Kristen Stewart is in it I am INSTANTLY interested and am going to have to watch it too!!!

OH MY GAWD WHATTTT?!!!!!!!!!! I actually had no idea that there was a series created but i LOVE the comic series SO much!!! I read the whole 800 page thing in about 2 days HAHA! I am looking up the show now so I can binge it!
