First of all, I am very sorry about the previous owner's lost. I lost a 1.8mil home and it's always sad when I see someone that has lost their house. This house is nice but needs a lot of cosmetic work.
Sorry about that we try to save homes but the team concept of ours never got started at 35 so we instead installed a gang method for us Gangbangers3.5

I don't know about foreclosures other than our neighbor. Newer house, great neighbor, no clue they were having problems. All of a sudden their daughter tells my daughter on the bus they are going leave and then pooooofffff... gone. If I knew how to buy it I probably would have because I knew it was in great shape. I just don't know the procedures/how long for something like that. FOr the longest time, there was just a no trespassing sign on it so I didn't know who to contact. Plus, I don't know how discounted a foreclosure might be?

Any NON HOA property is worth the price.
The house has great bones but personally I would gut it and give it a completely modern makeover. Take out all the travertine, wrought iron and DEFINITELY those awful columns everywhere and brighten the place up from top to bottom. That house could be beautiful once it's brought into the 21st Century.

I agree, this house is not worth the price set. The house looks very much outdated, dark and gloomy. There is too much work that would need to be done. The layout is all over the place and although the house it large, the rooms are not. There is no wow factor to make this house worth the asking price.

I have seen better house floor plans on $400,000 houses with the same or better square footage. Bedrooms are too narrow and too long. The movie room is far away from the main house. No master bedroom on first floor. Master bath not as nice as in many less expensive homes. Master closet is small. Better ways to bring in light above the closet built ins. Big window floor to ceiling at front of house with balcony on one wall of closet?
The house looks beautiful, but it's not a practical house. It feels like a rabbit den.

Can I be honest!? Ok.... I think the house is ugly and totally not worth 1 Mil... or maybe not just my style, but totally NOT worth the 1 MIL... This is a style for very few select people. The house to some extent creeps me out tbh... But Goodluck to the buyer.
