I Got so inspired by this. David is really knowledgeable. I like his mindset. He's just got on my list of the type of person I wanna be like one day. 10 year lmao, but he made me believe again. Best episode this season. For sure. Respect, that's why I love old people. Knowledgeable was flowing this whole podcast. I feel smarter now. Even learned a new word psychoacoustics aka (psychoacoustic guitar) lol. Yall definitely cracked a code for kpop with that one. It makes sense.

Even though i am not very familiar with the technical terms and all, this ep was so much fun! Nothing is better than watching a group of ppl talking about what they're actually passionate about! It was good to learn about all the artists he had worked with, esp RM's Indigo cuz that's literally like my comfort album- everyone was so interactive and excited in this ep!
This was the best episode I've heard from this podcast yet. The hosts were genuinely enthusiastic and so was the guest, with all of them wanting to interact, but without anyone trying to dominate. I really felt the respect and admiration that was in the studio. DYK is a truly unique person, especially compared to other creators, who oftentimes operate on fear of irrelevancy and it translates into nasty gatekeeping. DYK in contrast said himself (but in other words) that he focuses on being a kind person and working hard, so the rest will come. That's why he's genuine and generous with others. Truly a great episode!

mad respect to david! i don’t know much about making music but this ep made me really grow a deeper appreciation to the behind the scenes and all the effort different individuals (not just the artists) put into music. BM was right, this ep is def inspiring a lot of ppl, myself included! david seems like such a down to earth, humble guy, not just talented and hard working but has a great personality and mindset. awesome episode get real fam! loved the dynamic and the great questions and discussions!

I loved this episode. I loved David. He seems very passionate, genuine and he curses almost as much as me lol Definitely checking out his channel cuz I've wanted to do music since I was a kid but gave up in my 20s and I regret it every day
I was an intern at Wally Heider's studio in the mid 70's Tech engineers were building mixing boards (and specialized equipment (filters/limiters,etc...) to get more than the 4/8 tracks companies were manufacturing. Also, amendments/recorded parts were a physical cut the tape and glue in the new recorded tape in replacement.
I really love how they actually talk about music with their goofiness mixed 😂 I really love these podcasts and as a Stay I really want 3racha to come here and just talk about music cuz I'm sure all Stays would love that ❤

very good ep! most interesting guest in a while who is very knowledgeable about his craft as well as inspiring. even if it there was prepared questions..felt like a free flowing conversation...good to highlight an area of music that is often less talked about.. we always get artists, but its nice to hear more about a different discipline like sound engineering.
