The story is that a guy friend is worried for his friend that’s a girl when she starts dating a boy. She likes him a lot at first and the friend tells her to not fall for him completely due to past experiences with bad people before. The girls relationship gets more involved and the friend and her start hanging out less. The friend hates the guy for taking his friend away. The girl eventually stops talking about the guy and looks sadder. The friend confronts her about it and the girl says nothing. This leads to the friend to assume bad things (maybe he sees the bruise on her cheek) and say he’ll kill him. The girl stops him and cries to him.
That's actually sad :(
I think it's a cycle too since he says you are always the same so it's like she keeps getting into abusive relationships and since it said "it's hard to say you've grown" meaning she hasn't learned from her past mistakes. The friend will have to keep seeing her go through abusive relationships and although he might try to help she never really learns or stops

yeah it seems more of that the main character is a really close friend of the girl and is just paranoid about the girl getting into a toxic relationship which is something people can and will be regardless of their gender

로피님의 의도는 연애를 시작하게 된 여동생을 옆에서 바라보는 오빠의 시점에서 쓴 가사라고 합니다. 그 놈 믿지 말라면서도 설레고 좋아하는 여동생의 모습을 묵묵히 바라보다가 어느 순간부터 여동생의 모습이 조금씩 이상해 보이고, 어느 날 데이트폭력을 당하고 얼굴에 멍이 든 채로 돌아온 모습을 보게 됩니다. 이걸보고 빡돌게 되서 당장에 죽일 기세로 찾아가려고 하지만 여동생의 만류로 그만두게 되는 대강 그런 내용으로 기획됐어요. 하지만 보는 사람에 따라 다양한 해석은 가능하다고 봐요ㅎㅎ
