MD-80 APU Hot Start

this was a hung start, not a hot start.. it did not speed up so automatic control shut it down

Okay, you are scaring me a bit, you don't appear to have a grasp of how to start the APU. Taking quite a few steps with too much assistance. Are you still learning?
