Americans making fun of British food while they dump 80 pounds of raw sugar into a bowl of milk and call it breakfast
Never put sugar in cereal (I actually eat rice and steamed veg for breakfast...lol), though we do understand seasoning goes beyond salt and pepper. But, here's the real point, someone made fun of beans on toast, big deal, but the response, bringing up murdered children as a gotcha, which there are some folks from the UK doing. I lived in England for more than a decade, and the food, by comparison is bland. It's not bad food, but if you are used to certain types of seasoning, and spice and heat in your food, it's going to taste super bland to a person like that. Just like my UK friends that have visited me stateside often can't handle authentic dishes from other countries... Even our Vindaloo here is multiple times hotter than the version in England.
It's just food, the absolute fragility over food is mind-boggling, and when some British folks have used the death of little kids as some sort of "gotcha" over beans on toast? Seriously? That's super sick.
At least Americans season there food.
