the collingwood run was the most exciting. home crowd, long run. BUT the GF run was very important. swannies were on the back foot & i feel it really lifted them. jetta had a great finals series & season & is deservedly a premiership player. i'm a south/swannies fan happily mjr tokyo
There was another time in that same game when jetta chased dangerfield down from behind and caught him. Jetta barely even runs at full pace because he never feels he needs to.
He's not the fastest, but he's incredibly quick, good decision-maker, accurate kick, LONG kick, and unselfish. Sad he's out at the moment ;-( He's an absolute asset and hope he stays loyal.
Even though I'm a carlton supporter patty dangerfield was way behing jeta before the started sprinting and patty caught up and if jeta ran more patty would of chased him down so I'm saying dangerfield way faster
Danger is a great player and very quick (if not a little lose at the knees) but 100 m sprint just doesn't happen on the field. Reflexes and reactions are involved.

Rioli is a has been and couldn't catch Jetta, he could only push him in the back after he had disposed of the ball out of the shear frustration of him and his team being beaten and embarrassment of running so far and not making any ground.
That run against Rioli...Rioli almost closed the gap but Jetta put on the burners and left him for dead. Great stuff.

The reason why people were catching up to him is cause he has to bounce the ball which can cause you to slow down a little

Dangerfield is also an exciting player who takes a bouncing run at times which is good for the game but I think Jetta is more exciting.

Can't agree Dangerfield was spent and threw his whole body at Jetta as a last effort, I don't think Jetta was aware of him chasing either.
I think GPS data tells you he isn't the fastest player. However what he was good at was keeping a high speed. Similar to Dangerfield.
