my builds are a lot worse than you but the key to beating risen shaggy is positioning
thats why i love his fight reminds me of older MH fights where positioning matters more than rise counter heavy style
Ngl i don't like fighting Magmadron but i like his weapons🤣
man the pain i had to go through to make elemental dual blades and switch axe fighting him over and over bc im always unlucky with his drops...
i really hate his fight its so annoying
Yeah both Almudron and Magmadron fights are annoying but they're weapons are worth it. Still super annoying monsters to grind
Funny you say that Shag gives you trouble with DB because that's my counter weapon for Shag but maybe b/c I use a different build? I use a Heaven Sent Dragon Conversion set.
its moreso how i go about his fight, i usually clown on him with most of the weapons, but dual blades i like to squeeze in as much damage as possible and you cant really do that with shaggy due to his good hitboxes being in garbage places and being in front of him is generally a bad idea. In short if i want to fight him with DB i just have to suck it up and aim for the tail which i would do better to put on any other weapon.

i dont understand why did you always reset switch skill after you got hit by the monster and going back again in blue scroll.
and what is the secret why ur hp not decreasing in blue scroll? like its healing itself
Im reseting my switch skills because the way the berserk damage over time works is when you get hit it accelerates the health drain so switching scroll resets it back to normal, as for the self healing im using the gourmet fish at the start to regen hp long enough for me to break a part and then i heal through the 1 level of blood rite that my build has. Hope this helps out
