Could of done with this video last weekend. Went to a caravan and they had one of these machines had no idea how to use it. Ballsed up a coffee for the mother in law and never used it again.

Old School technique: I teaspoon Camp Coffee, I glass of water/milk, two or three crushed ice cubes, optional teaspoon of sugar to taste.

Hahaha, such a simple and great video; exactly that machine we are used to use for coffee in the holiday parks here in Netherlands. However with the amount of coffee I drink it's an expensive way to drink coffee.

Oh. You're supposed to throw it delicately on the floor. I usually just haphazardly slam it and that doesn't help at all.

You made me need coffee very much. But since it's 6.7 degrees Celsius here mine will be hot. Keep up the great work.

If I told you how much coffee I drink you would be shocked Jake.
And not ordinary coffee, but Turkish Coffee made in a pot. I'm on my 3rd 350 mli mug today.

Aldi has Alcafe brand capsules for this machine. I bought Chococino from this brand which is cheaper than Nescafé. You can give it a try it as well. Starbucks has capsule as well for this machine where I bought Macchiato.
Additionally, when it is pouring the coffee, kindly turn the glass around and you will see a nice shape on the surface as well for the presentation to your friends 😁

Hiya Jake. I enjoy coffee, but 'posh' coffee leaves me cold (no pun intended !). It's all too much 'faffing' about. I'll just stick to a quality granulated and boil the kettle. For a 'cold' coffee it's a simply enough boiled water to dissolve the granules then top up with cold milk. However, I did enjoy your presentation of the demonstration and the tour of you kitchen.

  • @Jules_Pew

Cheaper way - take jar of your favourite instant, tip in pan. Fill jar with sugar, tip in pan. Fill jar with water, tip in pan. Heat up until sugar is dissolved. Tip the contents of the pan back into the same jar. Refrigerate. Use a couple of teaspoons in a glass of cold milk. Ice is optional. The jar lasts for ages.

3.50 GBP? that's like 4 something in USD.. here in The US they cost at least double that price for Dolce Gusto Capsules.. I use the reusable capsules they work great and make delicious espresso and coffee in the machine

I might be wrong, but that just looks like instant milk powder and instant coffee in fancy, more expensive packaging. Why not just buy a milk frothier, grab milk from the fridge and instant coffee. Seems cheaper and easier.
