The best GVB combo ever. Never has their been a better one than Bill, David, Guy and Mark.
I agree this is the best vocal band Bill Gaither ever had!!!! David Phelps, Mark Lowery (sp?), & Guy Penrod with Bill are absolutely fantastic!!!! Where are they now?
David Phelps you are awesome. I’ve never heard a tenor with your range, you are the best of the best. I would love to hear you in person, God gave you this talent and you are using it for God’s glory. Keep up the great work and I’ll keep looking for more of your songs. You sing with your body and so much enthusiasm. You also have a beautiful family. Your daughter that sang with you is also talented, tell her to keep it up. God bless you!!
There’s no question that David Phelps and Sandi Patty are the two best singers who ever came across Bill Gaither’s path, but the Gaithers, as a whole, have seen some of the most amazing singers in the world for DECADES in a row. Guy Penrod, Mark Lowery, Kim Hopper, Larnelle Harris, Michael English, George Beverly Shea, Gold City, J.D. Sumner, Lauren Talley, Stephen Hill, Vestal Goodman, Wes Hampton, Angie Primm, and that’s not all of them, but there are MANY names among these who are better than ANYTHING you’d find on Broadway or in pop music.
This is my all time favorite Gaither Vocal Band, ever! David Phelps has the most anointing and amazing tenor voice that I've been blessed to hear. I listen to them all the time. May God bless each one of them as they sing praises to our Lord Jesus Christ to win souls for His glory.

To comprehend the Love of God----how can we? I know personally, it has taken me years of walking with Jesus ---through very hard times. At 63, having known Jesus most of my life, I am really just now beginning to catch a small bit of the depth of it!!! It is so amazing and filling ---I could never live without it!!! So rich and deep!!! Oh, when I reach home---I will know it in its fullness!!! Each day I know His faithfulness---so amazing!!!!!

This is my favourite GVB and David Phelps is my favourite singer so any line up with him in I love but I don't think there's been a bad line up it's just preferences so we shouldn't get angry if someone prefers a different line up or doesn't like a particular singer we can't all like the same.😍
Though the singers are great it is the words of the song that count with me to know that I a sinner saved by the grace of God through the blood of His Son saved such as me from sin and death. Thank You LORD for Your love and faithfulness.
