The bubbling synth intro is something I will never forget in the first time I heard MIAB. 15 years later I'm still here, still getting goosebumps from this track any many others.
SAME - I've been listening to these guys for about 12 years now and I cannot understand why they're not Global Sensations! Goes to show you how short sighted the music industry must really be... I actually had a conversation (text) on Facebook messenger with Stefan P. back in the day! He's such a nice and humble guy who just happens to write the most astounding music in the universe! If I had the $$$ I would easily bankroll these guys to go on the road again. As long as they hit AZ !!
I believe this track was in part inspired by the music from Lightforce, for the Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum which Stefan Poiss also did a really good version of!

It’s been a few years since the live show I went to. I couldn’t recall the visuals! I love how the vibe is very much the “ending” of John Constantine (from the 2005 movie adaption). Lovely work as always!

@@5even5eals I am incredibly fortunate to have a badass mom haha. MIAB is her favorite band of all time, and she is also into tons of other cool stuff like anime 😁
@@cloudbloom Your mom is like my father. He was the one who brought me into Electronic Music (Mind.in.a.box, VNV Nation etc.), Gaming and Animes.
@@ZyntosAran that's awesome! Actually it's kind of the other way around for me, I introduced my mom to anime, mind in a box, vnv nation, informatik, seabound etc but it's pretty cool how she is still into that stuff even at the age of 61 haha. Interesting to think about the cyclical nature of this though, if I hadn't grown up in the 80's & 90's listening to the music that she loved like the cure, new order, duran duran, tears for fears, depeche mode (the first album I ever owned was the cassette tape of depeche mode's violater, it was a Christmas present that she gave me when I was 8 years old) among many others, I don't think I would have sought out the type of music that I eventually found and then shared back with my mom. Kind of a trip thinking about it that way haha
