Im just the same , I get insomnia and search for more music like this to try and get to sleep . But then I get into searching for new artists that are similar and forget about getting to sleep .

With vocals that soar skies and synths that sear the skin like the Canberran sun, Zanias is back to sow their seed of dark beauty into the ears of the enlightened, with the new track, Unraveled. Rejoice!
Over an octave-driven minor pentatonic disoesque bass-line, Allison Lewis smolders like solar fog rising from verdancy. Making surprising choices of phrasing in her own inimitable style, Lewis uncoils, to reveal her scaly, serpentine, nature as she again sheds her skin for a new incarnation.
Hearing this song, one can’t help but to wonder if, in the coming post-internet, anarchistic, future, artists of Lewis’ charisma will have centralized cults and communes, rather than dispersed fans. I should rather like to think that devotees of the darkly beautiful music genres could have their own Motherland, where a new society could grow out of such collectives. Were it to come to pass, the step-pyramid dedicated to Allison and built by her devout followers would be most prominent as the Sun rose, driving shadows to slither up the steps to the temple from whence she would bless us with her voice at each new Dawn.
Unearthed is shaping up to be the best Zanias release; I’m greatly looking forward to it

There are very few artists that are able to reach within and touch every emotion and sense available. Zanias has all of this and more. Her lyrics take you on a journey that has twists and turns and never leaves you wanting less. Zanias should be up there amongst the greatest musicians of all time and students should study her works for evermore

the production on this album is really good, when i want to play zanias or linea aspera in my car i mostly listen to the unearthed album because it somehow bangs the best in my car, and the tracks are also great to sing along :)
