- Jezioro Turawskie duże, lub dla mieszkańców okolic po prostu Turawa. Często wybierane miejsce do wypoczynku dla mieszkańców Opola i okolic, ale również dla osób z dalszych rejonów. np. Śląska. Dobre miejsce do uprawiania sportów wodnych i bardzo popularne wśród wędkarzy.
Jezioro Turawskie - zbiornik retencyjny na Małej Panwi o powierzchni 24 km², wysokości zapory 13 m, głębokości do 13 m i pojemności maksymalnej ok. 108 mln m³. Oprócz Małej Panwi do jeziora uchodzi mniejsza rzeka Libawa. Na odpływie z jeziora działa elektrownia wodna o mocy 1,2 MW. Brzegi północny i południowy tworzą plaże otoczone sosnowymi lasami z wieloma ośrodkami wypoczynkowymi. Na akwenie tym jest również uprawiane żeglarstwo i wędkarstwo (występowanie sandacza).

Liked #32, beautiful lake area! I had to Google where Turawa was and it seems to be located between Wraclaw and Katowice. I almost went to Katowice when I visited Krakow. I read your des ription home page, I agree with you, people do not know what beauty really is unless it is not in the travel guide and tokd it is beautiful. We should take care of this planet as there is no guarantee a success in another planet or the moons!
