Evil Morty having the blueprints to Rick Primes ultimate weapon worries me not so much for the Rick as it does all Morty's... C137 actually trusted him with it more than he would himself which is why he didn't try to get the blueprints, but Evil Morty is fundamentally broken & hates himself in a very similar manner to Rick C137's beef with other Ricks... Evil Morty seems to look at his Prime counterpart as what he wished he could have been & would only choose to continue to exist for Primes benefit, all it would take is a rumor that Morty Prime had died and or was truly abandoned by C137 in order to justify using that multiversal death beam on himself to "save" other Morty's who's lives would be either just as meaningless as his own removed from everything or still suffering by trying & failing to get the approval that never existed from what's beyond a single exception the worst person in the universe...

So when you have agency on a scale larger than your own existence, all of a sudden the only thing that matters is which choice is easier. Rick and evil Morty have both reached that point, and the only things that begin to matter again are things that match their scale of agency because that's the limit of their current existence. So for Rick only cared about revenge and now he's elevated a Morty enough to care again. Evil Morty wanted to leave everything behind but has witnessed a Rick that might be worth caring for. The problem with caring about stuff is that it becomes the reason we do anything at all, revenge or leaving things behind. So it doesn't matter if Morty abandoned Rick or how shitty another Morty is as long as Evil Morty is still at the top of their existential impact, he wouldn't do anything cause that's just easier. Even if you're not the smartest Rick in the curve, your sheer identity as a Rick means you can assume any roll and any position, like a guard, with relative ease. He has a barrier, regeneration and a ton of cybernetics. Guard Rick 2 wouldn't have done shit. Plus, he was probably in shock that his buddy he worked with just got turned into soup
