Baku's airport is STUNNING! I loved that Library/Work area too such a unique amenity

As a former employee of Azerbaijan Airlines since it became an independent carrier after disintegration of the Soviet Union I am happy to see how greatly that airline developed. Hats off to managers, pilots and crew members of AA! And the airport is another jewel! Way to go!
I lived in the same Barracks as Azeris in Kabul. They were incredibly kind and hospitable to me. Since then I have always wanted to visit their country. Maybe I will one day, and if so… I’d like to try their airline. Your perspective of their carrier has sparked an interest.

Hello Josh. I think it would be great to ask the crew how many flight attendants work on the plane you fly. It would help to understand if the more they are, the better is the service. (I think so…).

7:21 Nearly every ANA 787 and JAL 777 I’ve seen have a Bidet in the Loo. But these have been domestic, or flights between Europe, Japan, and US.

Bidets are pretty standard on JAL on ANA. You would need to do an airlines of Japan tour soon....

Great video as always and can’t wait for the North Korea stuff. Recognized a lot from the airport, like the little book/library cafe corner, really nice to sit there. Visited Baku in Jan 2020 for work and all I can agree is that the people were very lovely and the city, although did not see a lot, was amazing. Spent a lunch at the radiotower with the 360 view restaurant here and it amazing. My agent also took me to two other restaurants, one with great local food and a steakrestaurant. The later you could literally choose the steak like you were a butcher shop, that was a nice experience. Can’t wait to get back there next year or ‘25 for our next project.

I got an amenity kit in economy on KLM flight from AMS to CPT.
Also on Emirates long haul flights you get amenity kits on economy

Perhaps Josh and his friend can tell us more about N.korea's russian planes and how they have been maintained over the years for so long without incident. Some avaition geeks made CZcams reports on how dangerous they are, even though no accident has been heard ever occurring.

I have been to baku it's so beautiful and did u went to shahdag hotel its so nice it's only 3 hours away from baku and also in night there is going to be snowfall the day I went to shahdag it's 3 celcuis ❤❤❤❤

Never expected the country's airport to be better over the state airline. It's like the reverse of Etihad lmao.

Soooooo well said (at the luggage belt) - it is always the governments and some fanatic psychos who work on creating conflicts n separating us. Nobody is born hating the other person, people are simply brainwashed and manipulated into hate. I’m glad these two flights were coordinated onto the same belt and I hope it helps pax in seeing the other person for what they are - an innocent fellow traveler with hopes, dreams and a normal life.

Quite a unique carrier. When Josh is boarding, am I seeing things or does that plane really have seatback screens for Economy and not for Premium Economy!? In the airline’s defense, they could be tucked away in the armrests, but interesting either way.

Nope. The screens are usually tucked inside the hand Rester. It’s movable and collapsible.

@@ytlurker220 I knew that about the bulkhead seats as common practice, but didn’t expect that to be at every seat in the case of Azerbaijan Airlines Premium Economy on the B787-8.
A few days ago I found Caspian Sea randomly in Google Maps and I found the Capital of Azerbaijan, which is Baku. It is interesting place and has a great achitectural buildings in the city. I hope I can visit this place in the future.
